Are You Afraid of the Dark?  

no.. but sometimes itz really scary..

No but my 6yo is. Hubby read her a scary book when we were transitioning her from a crib to a toddler bed and she's been co-sleeping ever since. She comes up w/ a million excuses but the most prevalent one is that she's afraid of the dark.

When I was younger I was horible for this. As I got older I grew out of this phase but if Im home alone I revert back to this. Thinnking the worst over the wind or my cat runninng around the house.

Yes, i am afraid of the dark, when its brown out and nobody at home I easily get afraid, I will look for the light and on it, i will never stay on the dark side of the house, or else i will call a companion until the light will be on.

when i was a little girl, i see images in the dark ,it makes me afraid.when i grew a little older,i figured there wasn't images,only in my mind.nowadays i have to be braver ,otherwise my kids will imitate me and be afraid of the dark.we keep lights on , a lampshade the whole night.we're just used to it.but we are not afraid in the dark!

When I was young, my father used to leave for night shifts. I must have been around 7 and he didnt feel at ease asking neighbors to look after me, my mother having passed away. So I used to stay home. Locked inside. Every little leaf that fell in the garden, or any dog shouting outside in the night was a potential scare. So I used to turn on the radio - full volume so that I could not hear all that. Before I knew I could sleep. Later in hostels, everytime there was a night when there were no lights, the girls would narrate horror stories. They are more effective at such times. A few years later, we also tried donning white sheets, and walking past the mosquito nets with a candle in hand. But thankfully, nobody suffered any stroke.

No i never scare to dark nights in my life yet because i trust god very much and make sure i used his name every moment

I won't freak out if I am at home and I know that I am safe. I might freak out if I am walking or doing something outside at night and suddenly black out happens. It must be scary! Then again I probably outside with a companion. We can freak out together then But being in the dark can be a bit scary. We can't see things around us (that is until our eyes get use to it) and we'll be imagining things if we heard any sound.

I'm afraid of the dark. I have been able to overcome it. I know it sounds ridiculous for an adult to say such a thing since I am no longer a kid. It's not like I'm afraid of "monsters" under my bed or inside the closet, but sometimes I do think that the devil is under my bed (crazy thinking..). If there's another person in the room, it's no problemfor me, yet if I'm alone, I"d fall asleep late in the morning, when my eyes can't keep themselves open.

I know it's irrational thinking. I know the dark won't do me any harm, but I still can't fall asleep if there's no light on! I am actually really embarassed that I'm writing this, it's the first time I admit it.

lolz... I never freak out when it dark. I just stay focus and I will be able to see. sometimes if someone knows you are like this, then they will scare you to death. lolz... it is just for kids to scare of dark.
