Brett Favre Coming Back  email this discussion to a friend?

Well its all over ESPN right now saying that the Vikings are waiting for Brett Favre's physical to be completed so that he can sign a contract with the Vikings.
I think that this is crazy because he keeps going back and forth on if he wants to play football or not. Yes he will probably help the Vikings out because of their quarterback situation but it is still funny to see him wanting to play again when he said late July that he was done because he can't handle it physically anymore because how old he is getting. But anyways I think this is good for the Vikings because now they will be a contender for the NFC North but I feel bad for the other Viking quarterbacks because they won't be able to play. So what do you guys think of this?
Is it good, is it bad, or do you think he is crazy?
Thanks for looking and have a nice day.

The first couple times Favre waffled over retiring I was happy he came back. He was an amazing QB and a very cool guy and I was very impressed that he could still play as well as he could as he got older. Now though, it's just beginning to be sad. He's still a fairly good QB, but aside from mentoring the younger QBs I don't think he'll be much of a help to any team at this point. He should really think about taking a coaching position, or go into commentating like a lot of other retired players.

Yea I agree with you, he is pretty good for how old he is and he is still durable guy but he really doesn't really help any team out that much, he juststresses the team out. And also I think it would be great if he becomes a commentator on ESPN when he retires because I think people would really enjoy that. He would also make a great coach when he gets older just because he knows the game so well and he has been around for so long. Brett Favre will go down as the top 5 QB of all time.

Well, when I heard that Favre was back and going to be playing with Minnesotta I was like "Well, I knew he could never retire yet." And I personally think Minnesotta was a good choice, and curious to see what he can do with them. I guess we will see what happens from here, and wishing him the Best.
