Can you Sleep Through a Thunderstorm?  

Yes i can sleep during a thunderstorm or better never be awaked about this while i was sleeping as well!!So in reality i don't have many attention around when i sleep and so even if there are some sounds or scream around me i can continue sleeping as normal!!

I'm also a light sleeper, but I'm likely to watch it for a while if it wakes me, I'm not worried about it

Yes, I can sleep through a thunderstorm. Im a very heavy sleeper and can sleep through a lot. I think I woke up once during a thunderstorm with a big bang - scared the crap right outta me.

The older I get, the more soundly I sleep. Most of the time I can sleep through a thunder storm. I may hear the thunder but then I would just roll over and go back to sleep.I do not get upset or worried about the storm.

Funny that I just saw this discussion. It just started thundering here! It's very close because it is one after the other. We have been having a lot of thunderstorms lately. I can usually sleep throught them. Luckily, my daughter just fell asleep before it started. She gets really scared.

Thunderstorm, tornado, earthquake all natural disasters I can sleep anywhere and through anything except for the children coming in and touching me. I can even sleep through them yelling most of the time. I'm really a heavy sleeper.

I'm a light sleeper (alarms, telephone calls, flushes of the toilet - ANy little noise usually wakes me up) but for some reason thunderstorms and the sound of rain actually is soothing to me - and calms me down/makes me more likely to fall asleep. It's very weird - but true. I can sleep through a thunderstorm any day.

i've been known to sleep through earthquakes
once i get to sleep,nothing wakes me up.but i do find rainstorms in general soothing,not sure why.

If it's not to close then I can sleep right through it, but if it's close I will get up.

hi shar oh my no indeed.the lightening would scAre
'the bejabbers out of me and I would be out of that
bed and sitting in a chair probably shaking from
fright. I really do detest lightening storms so much
and am so glad here in Ca we rarely ever have them.
