My wife's niece sent me her old Blackberry Pearl from Canada. The phone still works and in a very good condition. The problem now is, it's locked with Rogers. I searched the internet and I found out that unlock codes are available for a fee. Price ranges from 30 to more than a hundred US dollars. There is also one service shop here that offers to unlock my BB Pearl for a thousand and four hundred pesos. Is there an easy way to unlock the phone so I can use it here in the Philippines? Is there someone here who can possibly help me so that I will not spend a penny or something? But actually, I have nothing to spend for this, no budget.

Hey neil! That's a pretty good phone. Unfortunately though, you can't use it for now. I guess you really have to shell out some money to make it work. I think you just have to wait for awhile. Set aside some money until you can afford to unblock it. Things like that usually needs the services of the people in the phone industry. Again, it's a pretty good phone so i hope you can make it work as soon as you can since not all people especially here in the Philippines can afford one. My friend's Blackberry was blocked too but he brought it to the service shop and it's working now.
