Your opinion of Youtube flagging videos.

Hi there,
I really hate the whole coptrigth youtube thing with the music. I use to make alot of tribute videos and would always use some sort of music..usually one which was popular then everytime I woudl go to upload it then would put up this notice that I had to change the music or mute the whole video and it really bothers you because the music is basically the root of the video and it wont make any sense with a nother kind of music or if there is no sound at all. i think we should be able to use the music if we are using in a way where we have made our own video and are jsut using the music in the background.

I think this thing with youtube copyright stuff concerning the vids is just another pain in the but. As long as the video maker is not making money from the content, then what does it matter? It's not like most people haven't heard the song before(just an occasional few might not have heard it before). Plus, I think artist got better exposure through youtube. I sometimes see comments asking the vid maker "what is the song called" or "who is the artist". It's just the big wigs in the music industry giving the poor man another pain in the neck. Like anyone needs any additional kicks in the rear these days. People can't even enjoy watching or making a little 9 minute video anymore. Grief!
