Do you hate it when somebody makes you wait?  |

 Today I had a fight with my hostel mate. I know I was a little rude, but there is a limit for my patience. Both of us take the same vehicle to office arranged by our hostel. I be ready at the reception area on time everyday. She makes me wait for 5- 10 minutes most of the days. Today, she was talking to her room mate making me wait for her.
Do you think it is fair?
Have you ever faced this kind of problems?

 daliaj (2865) | 5 months ago | It is bearable for one day, but she does the same almost everyday. If I calculate 10 minutes per day for five days a week. I am wasting almost one hour a week, i.e. four hours a month just by waitng for her. She is not a good friend of mine. I can use the time for a lot of other productive tasks. | 3. ChrysanTflower (1149) | 5 months ago |  If there's good reason, I wouldn't mind. But what I really hate is I don't know what to do while waiting.. Really! I feel silly, try to play with my cellphone and press some button (actually I only look all the menu in my phone) or see other people (but then feel guilty when they look back to me). That's why I don't like waiting! Now I prefer to wait in cafe or restaurant, so I can order a drink or small meal and concentrate on my meal while waiting.
Have you ever talked about this problem to her? I don't think it's fair. She need to consider other people's feeling too (in this case, it's your feeling) who must wait for her..

I can understand if she gets up late and get ready late, but today she was just talking to her friend in hostel making me wait. She could have considered me waiting and would have talked to her over phone if it is that important. I don't think it was an important conversation. | |

She appears as if she is cool and said taht she give me missed call when she gets ready. I don't want to wait for her missed call daily. I am planning my work in such a way that I will be ready on time. Why should I wait for her missed call? | |

I just sat at my room cleaning my toes even if I was ready because I was thinking that girl was going to be late. But, she got into the vehicle first and the driver made a call to me. I was all ready anyway, so I went down in one minute and got into the vehicle. This means she can be on time if she wants. | |

I don't like waiting for anybody in life and may be this is why people term me arrogant! But i like things being a little quicker than normal and i'm very very impatient when i wait for something or someone.

She just lives in the same hostel where I live and we take the same transportation to office. Thank god, I am not coming back to hostel with her. | 7. srganesh (3521) | 5 months ago |  Once in a while,we can understand and adjust.But daily means,she is irresponsible and taking you for granted.No wrong,you fight with her and make her realize you can't be taken in the future.Try to complain to your hostel warden and they too will insist on her to be in time.Anyhow,I too will not tolerate such delays if it is going to happen daily.
