|  I don't understand whay all the distress and hate for Vick?! Ok, I get it, he was the money behind a dog fighting ring, its cruel, its ugly, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. However, there are guys playing in the NFL right now that have multiple arrests and convictions for drugs, assualt, manslaughter, etc. And Vick is the one causing the outrage? I dont get it! He killed dogs, (dispicable as it may be) it wasnt your grandma he killed in a drunk driving accident, leaving a strip club, with an 8 ball in his pocket! Can someone explain to me why he is worse than these guys?

| |  Amen! I don't get the situation myself. He did his time. Let him be. Don't the bible say who without sin cast the first stone. We all have done things that we are not proud of. So why is people still hit this man so hard. Well I tell you this much the Eagles has a die heart fan now since they have Micheal. GO EAGELES!!!!!

| |  Yea I agree with you, I don't know either. Maybe because he was such a big star in the NFL then he got caught doing this and little kids looked up to him because of his popular nam. He seems more of a humble guy now and I hope he stays out of trouble, he is a good guy. He served his time in jail as a normal person and I am happy that he gets another chance to play football.

| | Yeah, I mean, everyone wants to throw the role model thing in there, and pull on that little piece of Sally Struthers in all of us ( hahaha) and talk about "the kids" and what it puts out there for them! Please! If they really cared about the kids we would pay more attention to how the 16 year olds out there are getting a hold of prescription drugs and going out and crashing into each other!
Im sure the guy looked at it as more of a means of entertainment, and now he sees it for what it is. Whether he is doing it for the right reasons or not, he is making the changes and has paid his dues! | | | |

| |  I feel you, dude. I love animals... I have my own, but DAMN... He did the crime and he served his time! Leave him alone. All these organizations just see money and are out for a big donation. Screw that... All these other guys that have drug, alcohol convictions etc... What you hear it on the news ONCE and then its DONE!!? They just need to let him move on with his career!!!

| |  They need to, but it will never happen. For the rest of his career anytime he does anything it will be mentioned and whats worse is that for the rest of his life it will never be let go because anytime someone in the nfl does something wrong they always talk about other who have made mistakes and right now vick is the posterboy for having made a mistake. He did a bad thing but its done and he has paid his price for it. People need to move on and let the man be.

Stallworth kills a human and gets 30 days in jail and the people seem to not mind. Vick killed a few dogs and the world is coming to an end. | |  I really like to know where all this hate is coming from. Mostly all the people in this discussion agree with you. Either the animal rights group has a hell of a lot of power or its personal. Maybe people just don't like Vick. I thought what he did was very wrong, but 2 year was too much. Now they are crucifying him further.
I do believe however if he becomes a starter and brings Philly or any team in the future to the playoffs, he will be forgiven, even loved.
Very sad America.
