Dark chocolate therefore has some health benefits, along with a lot of empty calories which must be countered in the rest of your diet. According to WebMD and other sources, it "can be beneficial if you are middle aged and have moderately high blood pressure." Sid note: milk appears to prevent the absorption of antioxidants. If you drink milk with your chocolate you totally negate the benefits.
Tea - it all depends on the tea. White and green teas are loaded with antioxidants. Black teas not so much. There are several herbal blends that have antioxidants.
