Has anyone visited New York? What is your favorite part or want to see? |
|
I work in New York City, so I take a lot of it for granted. I only sightsee if my family is visiting and that is not very often. What are your favorite parts of New York City. Or if you have never been, what do you want to see if you every come?

1. dawnald (10391) | 5 months ago | I was there as a child and I vaguely remember the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building. Also my brothers and sister and I were pretending we could speak Spanish, but we were really just speaking gibberish. I'd like to go back and see some of the museums and central park and maybe a broadway show or something.

2. dodo19 (4350) | 5 months ago | I was there a couple of years ago and I really enjoyed it. There are so many things that I enjoyed. I enjoyed seeing the Statue of Liberty, seeing a Broadway show, and just seeing a different city. I really enjoy traveling, and I really enjoyed my time in New York City. I hope to go back some day.

3. geminikid (1071) | 5 months ago | I went with my family in 1985, and enjoyed a lot of it. Rockefeller Center, the subway, Empire State Building, all will be remembered in a positive was. I wanted to see the Statue of Liberty, but she was up in scaffolding at the time. The ferry ride was nice though

4. ibuemma (1226) | 5 months ago | I was lived in New York about 10 years ago, not too long only about 3 months. But the cost of living is really high, that's why we moved out. The next time I visit I really want to go inside the madame tussauds wax museum. i passed it so many times, but never got in! And I really-really want to visit the rockfeller center whwn they put up the big christmas tree.

5. antarcticpostcards (441) | 5 months ago | I have been to New York City a few times, but I never really liked it. I did enjoy the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Disney Store, and the Hershey Store, as well as the new Yankee Stadium, but none of it was good enough that I want to go back. Citi Field is definitely a stadium to skip and one of the major things I hated doing in New York, but I just had to go to it during our trip to all 30 major league ballparks this summer.

| 6. mm51992 (62) | 5 months ago | I just visited this past May. Let me tell you, it is truly incredible. There's nothing else like it. My favorite thing to do was people watch in Times Square. We went to Starbucks there and stood around trying to take it all in. One thing I regret not seeing is Central Park. But no worries, I'll definitely be back!

7. inutme (241) | 4 months ago | I looooooove New York. I love it because of it's accessibility. I love it because of broadway. I love it because of the pretzel and bagel stalls everywhere. I love it because of Times Square. Because of Central Park. Because of all the shops. Because I can walk to practically anywhere. Because I can walk around and still feel safe. Because it's a fun place. Because it's New York! And did I say that I totally love it because of broadway? Oh yes I did!
