I am also a bit edgy because my blood sugars are up. The doctor and I are testing and adjusting meds to regain control of the sugars. But for now, they are higher than the desired 5-7 (50-70?)

I used to hate being called Mikey right up until it became a term or endearment given me by a large native lady who was my dispatcher at Commodore Taxi in Duncan. She was a big momma too!

Unless it is powdered donuts then nope I don't know what your fix is. My mom is diabetic and she can't seem to keep her sugar down at all but she also has a sugar addiction that doesn't help matters. They are wanting her to take insulin shots but she refuses. She gets mighty mighty mighty cranky when her sugar is up and nobody can stand her because she turns into a total Bee-yatch at the time. They want her blood levels to be between 80-100. My step dad is also a diabetic. He is a sugar junkie..everything has to be sweetened even pre-sweetened cereal..I know what you mean by the spring...I feel that way myself alot of the times.

My pharmacist suggested that I may have to go the insulin route. Didn't want to but, oh well. This pricess will suck it up and shoot up those 4X each day. I shoot myself once a day with Copaxone for the MS, insulin be no different.

Alive is good. dead and amputated sucks. I don't want to go that route.

BTW...it's politics. Summer is as slow for politics as our local ski hill is for snow..

Okay gotcha, I am sorry to hear about the insulin.. it is no fun route at all. My husband had a close friend that died from diabetes, but first he had both legs and one arm amputated..after that it wasn't long before he died. So that is why I am trying to get my parents to straighten up and live better and to stay away from the sugar but they act like they have excessive wax build up in their ears cause they don't listen, But they like to gripe when their sugar is too high. And maybe you find a new addiction till the time comes for your politics to be on the rise again.
