I do not feel qualifid to argue that point from a biblical point. A personal opinion tells me that God made us all in his image. I don't believe He would frown on a loving relationship between two committed people that He put together. They are not hurting anyone. All of God's children deserve to be happy.

What say you?

Like many other people, you appear to think that homosexuality is a matter of choice. It is not. It is the way that a person is born, though, of course it doesn't generally become evident until that person approaches sexual maturity and many people confuse that age with the onset of being able to make a considered choice (about anything).

The church you attend (unlike the colour of the skin or hair or eyes you are born with ... and the gender of people you prefer to be intimate with) is certainly a matter of choice - at least, after the time when your parents have an influence over you. Choosing a church where you can feel 'comfortable', though, is an insidious danger which one should always be aware of. God, in spite of His love for us, is not always a 'comfortable' person to be with and any 'godly' society that persuades us otherwise may actually be an instrument of what people call 'the Devil'.

I agree that a person's sexuality is as irrelevant to their call to minister as it would be in most other professions. If sexuality enters into it at all, then it should certainly not lead anyone who ministers (or who professes to represent God in any way) to condemn others for being the way that they were created.

Thank you, I am glad to see someone who believes and understands the clear teaching of God's word. If someone reads God's word with a open heart to God, it is easy to understand what it is saying. But for the those who want to make God's word fit their lifestyle instead of changing to fit what God's word says it can be difficult to comprehend. I guess it boils down to who your God is; if it is the God of the universe, a person will submit to His word, if it the god of my fleshly desires then you know what the result is.

Yes, you're right. Liberal Christians today substitute man's teaching and philosophy to God's teaching and correction. They would rather hear and listen to man-made doctrines and inventions than hearing and listening to the clear and simple truth about God's word. That was prophesied a long time ago by the Apostle Paul and I knew you have already read it in your bible that in the last days, people would listen to legends and false teachers who will teach another gospel contrary to Jesus' Gospel because it is pleasant to their ear rather than the rebuke the bible teaches about. But Jesus is telling us in John's Gospel, "If you continue to obey My teaching, you will know the truth and the truth will set you free." God bless.
