He talks to the tv but it never responds lol

Hi Dia...yes, frustration is definitely one thing that causes us scream at those on television. Or some of the movies where one is about to make a stupid or dangerous move. I always try to warn them, but they never listen.

LOL, I think many of us said plenty of X-rated things to that man when he was on television!! So, the poor dog doesn't get it? Put on a "dog show" someday, and then he'll bark at them and know how you feel LOL.

Hi Yvon. Seeing your tell about your father reminds me of years ago when my father-in-law was still alive. He loved to watch wrestling, always from the very edge of his seat, and would also punch and gesture and such, and HE was more entertaining to watch than the television LOL.

Ack! I also do not like a running commentary or a plot spoiler. I have a couple of people who do that. I love them dearly, but it is hard to watch a movie or television show with them LOL.

And yes, getting into the sports as though you were there in person, well that is hard NOT to do...a very natural thing.

Yes for sports only, I love to just sit and watch a movie by myself, I watched this movie called mirrors the other day, it was really good, have you seen it? I need to see it again, I caught the middle the first time I watched, second time I only watched the beginning, next time I need to sit and watch the whole thing lol

I am the same way don't care for the cheesy movies makes me sick, so what about 1408 have you seen that one with John Cusack and Samuel L Jackson that movie is pretty good as well, and vacancy that was good, I can see the stars faces but can't think of the name, Kate Beckinsale got it lol a must see both movies well mirrors for sure.

Hi Kitty. No, I've seen neither of those, but will add them to my "to see" list. In this bloody economy, I have cut back or out so many things I used to do routinely, liking seeing the good movies when they came out!

But like you, I also sympathize or scold or cry or warn characters in a plot. I think that is a sign of a good show or movie...so well scripted that one feels they are right there!

Hello Eileen. Some people are quiet by nature during a show, but commercials? Ack! Yes, then we are very apt to vocalize our opinions.

As for the popcorn, my friend and I actually do that quite often...a large bowl of it between us as we watch the shows or movies or sports, and he talks away lol.
