|  I remembered John Denver very well. I love his singing style and they way he conducts the Miss World and Miss International pageants. He had wonderful Christmas shows and he was super people friendly.It is sad that he is no longer among us. He died wile piloting a plane somewhere in the USA. Bless his soul.I love so many of his songs. The top song in my list is Annie's song. Then there is my second favourite Country Roads. 'Sunshine on My Shoulders' and "Sweet Surrender" brings back memories when I was in the varsity. Do you like John Denver songs. Which are your favourites?

| | Yes, the Annie Song's lyrics are so touching. It's emotive and the tune is so adorable and a great sing-a-long. I used to have all his albums on vinyls. I may have to start a John Denver collection soon. Annie's song and Country Roads are great numbers in karaokes and pubs. | | | |

| |  I remember the day he died. I was home with my mum while my dad was at work. I think I was about 6 or 7 years old. Then in the afternoon my dad came home from work and was crying because he heard the news about poor John Denver. My dad absolutely loved John Denver ever since he was I think a teenager or maybe younger. Not really certain. But yeah because my dad liked him, I heard his music and I loved to hear him sing and listen to the way he wanted the world to be. My how he adored nature and children and just loved Earth. I love all of his songs but I can't help to mention, "Eagles and Horses", "They Were Flying For Me", Yes and "Sweet Surrender" and again juts like you said, "Sunshine On My Shoulders" I seriously could list them all, they are all just brilliant and they all came from his heart which makes it much much better. This was a great discussion and thanks for posting it for I don't know anyone near my age to talk about John Denver.

I even like Grandma's Old Feather Bed for its beat and best of all, Annie's Song.His showmanship is irreplaceable especially as he leads the semi finalists in the Beauty contests.
