Respect for Other People's Time

I am person that is always on time with everything i do and or at least 15 minutes before because i feel like doing it before the time then i know i will be respecting other peoples times as well if they have other things scheduled or what not. I also hate waiting on people, for instance friends because they say ok were leaving at 10 to go down south so I'm there at there house around 9:45 ready to leave and i see they haven't even started to get ready to go and it takes them a while to get ready which is always annoying and I'm like well i could have been doing other stuff at my house while your getting ready instead of me sitting here and that bugs me a lot and i don't think they understand that at all.

I am with you on this one! I cannot work with such disorganization. I also don't care for situations where meetings start late and such, what a show of disrespect of other's time. When I go to a church I will leave if they do not start on time becuase it sends the signal that all the effort I went to just to get there on time was disregarded!I know there times we all get off a little bit but in general, I am puntual and expect others to be also.

I try to be respectful of other people's time. I admit I don't always succeed. Who does? However, I've found that other people aren't respectful of my time as a rule. The funny thing is that these disrespectful people either mostly want to work for me or are being paid to supply me with medical goods. You would think that they would be the most respectful and not the least. Still, I suppose they know they have a exclusive contract with my insurance company and no one else can do their job. Trust me, I've tried to find someone. As far as interviewees go, I assume that most of their bad attitude is due to the fact that most able-bodied people don't think disabled people have lives that involve more things than sitting around and waiting for them.

I respect other's time very much. it is for reason, I want my time to be respected a swell. I am always at time anywhere. I do not one anyone to wait for me.

Yes, I understand since I too am dealing with so many inconsiderate people throughout the week. Apart from what the quality of your work is (which they will know once they have worked with you) there has to be a decent rate for all jobs of the same kind. But some clients think that since there’s so competition around, they can get the same job done at dirt cheap rates which is really so frustrating. I am in the advertising sector and my company does top rate creative work which of course costs quite a lot. We have had to deal with similar situations when we had gone and presented our best only for the client to decline on the cost aspect…and a few weeks later we see the same company giving out ads and hoardings based on ideas which we presented! So you can well understand that during the presentation they liked what we did, just kept the basics in their mind and then hired some local freelance guy who did more or less the same job for much less! Of course the effect can never be the same but to some people that doesn’t matter at all!!! And yes, always take instructions from clients in writing…verbal instructions are just not the official way of doing things. You never know when they might backtrack and you’ll be in a soup.

I also hate waiting on people when i have some where important to go, its more so though when the person is slow, and i really hate when they end up not being able to take me the day i ask when they said they could. And when i ask a person to take me some where, i usually ask if they have time, i respect other peoples time.

Hi, this is suneetha, now i would like to share few words about the respect for other people's time. It is very important in every one life and it will improve the communication between more than two people. Time is very important. We respect other people time when we learn to value it as much as our own. Even better, we can get to a point where we won't distinguish between our time and time of others. Hence I give a small example of People's Time like Today it's as easy to copy practically anyone on your mail as it is not to. And some time we find ourselves copying people almost out of habit. In general this is rude. People have less time than ever today, precisely because they have so much information to absorb. Before you copy people on your messages, ask yourself where they really need to know.If the answer is no, don't waste their time. If the answer is maybe, think twice before you hit the send key. So friends finally i conclude Time is very important to one and all so don't waste your time and my time this is my small suggestion to one and all

i am person who notice the rule of time,this is important,i often caculate what i do every day,so i regret that the time past quickly,so i respct for other people's time,their time is important as same as me,so i don't do that thing waste other people's time.especially people who are busy at work and life,this make them tired,so i don't hope that this thing happened and respect for other people's time.
