So I've heard that replacing soda with water has really not only helped people become more healthy but has helped them lose weight too. I was just wondering if anyone on here has ever tried this? Does it really help alot?

2. anotherxidentity (880) | 4 months ago | It does work. The thing is think amount the amount of sugar in soda and the effects that is going to have on your body. Now some people will remark loads of weight lost while others won't seem to have as much but you have to think about your workout styles and then how much you normally drink soda too. But the thing is I would go along with it - and then if you get tired of water just get juice or something. Juice is still healthy but a good alternative.

Water helps a lot in cleansing the body while soda on the other hand contains ingredients that could be harmful in the body in the long run. I'm currently doing s little bit of water therapy right now. Before I used to drink energy drinks and sometimes sodas and alcoholic beverages. Since I shifted to drinking more water, it has been a lot better for me. It really helped me lose some weight and I was able to save some cash (lols). What I usually do now is just substituted those energy drinks and sodas with water. Instead of bringing those to the gym, I bring water instead. It's cheap, it's natural, and it doesn't contain anything that may be harmful to the health. Also in my meals, I drink about a glass or a glass and a half of water a few minutes before eating. I have read it somewhere that drinking at least a glass of water before eating meals aids in weight and fat loss. The water partially fills up the stomach before eating so one won't feel that hungry before eating and in the process lessening the intake of food. I really got used to it and after a few weeks, I have noticed very impressive results. The fats around my abdominal area lessened and I really lost some weight. I did that along with exercise and following a healthy diet.
The benefits of water is too underrated. A lot of people drink water only when they're thirsty not really knowing how good it can be healthwise and in losing weight (looking good). Develop the habit of drinking water before eating meals. It worked for me, for sure it will work on everybody too.
