For the treatment of heroin addicted persons usually a medicine is used called Methadone. But for whom Methadone is not worked for them the ingredient of heroin Diasetilmorfine can be applied. Recently a group of medical scientists of the University of British Columbia,Canada reviled this in the New England Journal of Medicine. To test the effectiveness of Diasetilmorfine the doctors made a test on 226 heroin addicted persons of Montreal and Vancouver. Half of these persons were injected Methadone and rest half were injected Diasetilmorfine. After one year it was found that to whom Diasetilmorfine were applied 88 percent of them are continuing treatment.Two third of this group had been get relief from criminal deeds. On the other hand those were treated by Methadone from them 54 percent are continuing treatment. Rest of them returned to their old addiction.
