When to say "I Love You"???  | |  I have been going out with my boyfriend for 4 months now. We are getting on really well and spend loads of time together and I'm really really happy!! But the other day he told me he loves me. I was really happy and I said it back to him but now I'm wondering was it a bit too soon? How long has it taken your partners to say the 3 big words? Should I just be happy and forget that it might be too soon??

| | | | | | 1.  breepeace (2278) | 4 months ago |  I've said it as soon as 3 weeks, and as late as 6 months, and in every incidence he's responded back in kind. I think if you feel as if you love him, and he feels as if he loves you, you should say the words.
I'd just be happy. Don't worry about it. He even initiated it, and if it came to that, chances are good he's felt that way for quite some time but didn't want to scare you off by saying it too quickly. I guess he'd had enough of keeping it in?:)
