How many musical nodes are exactly there....???

There are seven basic notes, A,B,C,D,E,F and G but there are many octaves that these notes can be in, depending on the instrument.

There are 12 sharped and flated notes. C Db D Eb E F Gb G Ab A B Bb.

Some notes have two names. For instance Ab is also caled G#. Cb is called B sometimes. In some scales you can have a double flat or sharp. Abb is G. Ebb is D.

Major Chords consists of 12 tones, namely: C, C#, D, D#, E, F, F#, G, G#, A, A#, B.

The variations possible on an instrument like the guitar is just almost unlimited. I play the guitar for five years and I still feel like there are a million of different chords and positions and variations I don't have a clue about. It's overwhelming, really. But to play songs and write songs and stuff, you don't have to know so many chords. Just the mort important ones, A B C D E F G, the minor version of them, and those A#, B#, etc., and the Ab, Bb, Cb, and the some C7, B7, etc. (I don't the name of those kind of chords in english, sorry).

I think you are mentioning about Saa ree gaa maa paa thaa nee in Indian classical music. Yes they are basic nodes in Indian music and there are other related secondary nodes are there. These basic nodes are more or less similar in western music also. But they use them with different nodes compared to Indian classical music. So basically only 7 seven nodes are there for all music from the east to the west. But permutations and combinations with other additional nodes will differ from one instrument to other instrument.
