What do you think about the time differences across the world?

O.k well that makes sense, I never think about that,when I say good morning I really mean good morning until someone says its nighttime where I am, I say to myself how is this possible, I just don't get this honestly.

I know I will never really get this time difference thing, would be nice to say goodmorning/goodnight without having to be told I made a mistake yet again.

I didn't mean to offend you! Sorry. I've spent some time in NY working, we had a company Apt. in Manhattan and I had a condo in Elmsford, I got to know lots of New Yorkers, I usually don't group people in one unit but NY is a unique place! As I said I've been all around the USA and am now in Mexico for a few years! Thanks for the friend request. T----

I am sure that took a lot of getting use too, so what happens when you get use to a certain place/people and in your heart you don't want to leave how do you feel? where are you from originally?

I grew up in the Detroit area, started roaming when I was 17, went to northern Michigan work at a summer resort, went to collage and moved to Florida then Lake Tahoe Nevada, Sun Valley Idaho,Phenx,AZ back to Idaho( It's wonderful there) Centralia Wash. Salem Oregon, back to Detroit. And then started doing Road Warrior work installing Assembly lines for the auto Industry, I'd go to places for 8 months and then they sent me to Mexico for 3 years, I moved to Laredo TX, and then did construction work for flood and hurricane damage as a first responder! A brief discription! LOL! T----

Must be pretty cool I imagine, I am sure you enjoy it considering you are still doing the job, do you have your family to travel with you? personally me I will miss my family, when I was in a different borough I felt like I was too far from them lol

I'm not working now there's lots more to the tdemex story! LOL! But I've been here over a year I first joined when I was working and I was making a ton of money! I joined just to improve my typing and spelling skills! But now I'm here a lot more for other reasons one is the money! I've gotten into on line marketing and I use mylot to stash cash in money investing sites, along with trek pay I do OK! It's going up instead of down so I consider that on the plus side! We are two of a kind, I don't have a clue about any of this,if my life depended on this I will be gone I am in NYC,the city of noise and chaos lol, so its 10;31 for you, its 1;49 here, I knew a few people in california, one I speak ot on the phone a lot, so I knew what was the best time to call her, but when I don't speak to here, forget about it, its back to square one lol

You didn't say what time it is where you are, this way I can try to remember some of my friends differences

at work we use to use military time I know thats not the same still hard to remember I know 20:00 is 8pm lol thats because thats the time I start working, well use to start working.

Eastern Daylight time here...at the moment it's 8:47 pm

You are right about that its 4pm here [em]thumbdown[/em]mylot has really made this a issue for me some what, I say good morning they say good night, I am like huh, I always forget that this actually exist, I will not lie and say one day I will get it, Not going to happen, I will stay away from the goodmornings/goodnights stick with "hello my friend" thats safe.

*Hello, my friend*Sounds like a universal greeting we could all use without fear of getting it wrong.

On occasions tho, people will sign off with a 'good night' or in with a 'good morning' That is natural and I myself will probably do it most days. Or do I?

ppfftt, I'm always saying goodnight when it's good morning or vice versa. I miss my far away friends.

I have someone that I exchange thoughts with daily and our time is way out of wack, This is something that I don't think about at all, you do have friends in different time zones so you are aware, I have a friend in california we talk on the phone, but when we don't talk I forget about the time difference its only here that I am reminded daily.


So good to read your response, I had a ten star yesterday don't know what happened to it, if you see it tell it to come home please.

Pay it no mind. It'll come home if and when it wants to. The star ratings are evil incarnate and grossly abused...just my opinion!

O.K so 21;04 is that 9;04? I use to use military time at work so I am somewhat use to that, unless the uk have a whole different way of saying the time I am totally lost lol

I have been on the net myself for a number of years, never got into the different time zones, I have one person I speak to in california and she is behind me I think, don't get me to lying let me think, behind o.k I will go with that, if we don't talk I forget like now, I find this truly amazing how you could be there on one time, I am here on another time, shes over there on her time wow

Ahh yes, the best thing I think about the different time zones is the New Year. I know someone in the Netherlands and either last year or the year before we celebrated each other's New year, with hers being an hour before mine. I found that amazing fun, though it is strange to imagine one part of the world being in one year, and the rest in another lol! It was definitely fun to have an excuse to celebrate it twice though:)

What time is it where you are at the moment then? Are you in the part of the US that was 5 hours behind my time?

Well you are asleep by the time I got this it was 8;25 pm, so I will call it a night myself in a few hours lol, what a wonderful things that was I like that idea celebrating New Years twice how cool is that , so I was right about the time good for me, lol
