How do you think the importance of traditional chinese medicine(TCM) ?

With an increasing incidence rate,cancer has become a main helthy problem in many countries,although the conventional western cancer therapies such as chemotherapy,radiation and surgery have shown encouraging results for tha treatment of cancer.However,the adverse effects of these treatments have been,there as here,often highly debilitating. TCM stategies are reported to protect the immune system from damage and increase survival rates,sometimes dramatically,when used in conjunction with the morden agents. So what is your opinion about the role of TCM in the treatment for cancer?
