Are blogs the new way of connecting with the world?

Yes blogs are a way of connecting to the world, letting them know your thoughts and your suggestions over anything, any genuine topic to be placed, your views, your poetry for anything around you, and even blogs are publised for advertising and for eanring purposes too.

I think that blogs are definitely a new way of connecting with the world, and a few years ago it was one of my main ways until the site became some random art site and I left because I don't draw very often lol! More than that I also think that discussion boards and other such sites are also a way to connect with the world. When I first joined the Internet community, and since leaving the blog site, discussion boards like this one (though not paid) have become my main way of connecting to the world, and especially to other countries. I think it is fantastic and it shall be interesting to see how things change in the future.

In my own opinion, i think the idea for blog is based on there's internet users want to be known online by other people. Everyone actually want to have their own website eventhough they didn't know what kind of website or what to put as content. So that why blog are very popular nowadays. Blog has become an identify of internet users. I think, today, every internet user will be proud about themselves if they have their own email address and their own blog. We can easily find that there's an internet user with more than one blog. For some people who have no necessary to make an ecommerce site, then they make their own blog as their online diary and place for sharing their ideas, thoughts, and opinion, or even pictures. For some people who want to run an online store but have limited skills on web programming and limited capital to build a great shopping site, they usually make their online store with static cataloque by using their blogs. Very easy to find blogs which selling products. So by this fact, blog is not only for sharing ideas, thoughts, opinions, etc, but also can be use for business. But usually a selling product's blog only serving locally. That is also because no international people will easily trust a blog for doing financial transaction with that blog author because there's no guarantee from a blog. It's totally different if you have a proffessional ecommerce website. So, you want a common blog or business blog, of course it depends on how you will manage and run your blog.
