Cash for Clunkers could bring and end to Democrat Control Congress

Not the program itself, but the fallout to a very likely outcome. In order to participate, car dealerships had to agree to pay the trade in, then the government would reimburse them. Because of almost criminal mismanagement, and a completely idiotic system for reimbursement, dealerships have only received a small portion of the reimbursement money due them. No one has been keeping track of the total paid out by dealerships. There is a very real chance that more money has been paid out that was budgeted by Congress. If a significant number of dealerships are left holding the bag by a deadbeat congress, there will be hell to pay.

Most people in Congress are slime. I'd probably say the same if Republicans controlled it. The U.S. oligarchy must be put to an end. I really don't even bother debate politics just for the fact that people are either hardcore Democrats or hardcore Republicans. I really can't stand either one.

Now THAT would really cause some 'change' in Washington.

Here's a voting suggestion... don't even consider the incumbent, study the background, experience and positions of those running against them. Vote for the one who best fits the Constitutional mandates of the office.

Yea...actually it would. A 482 billion dollar deficit is looking good in the face of a 1.84 trillion dollar deficit..and climbing.

You would hope. But in case you haven't noticed, the President and Congress do not care. They have showed over and over that they don't feel the need to do what their constituents want. They do not feel the need to what the Constitution demands. And they really do not care if the dealerships get their money. I am willing to bet that when all is said and done, some dealerships will never get all of that money, some dealerships and maintenance shops will close and where in the world will they put all of this scrap? Then for those of us that were too smart to take on a new set of payments, will be ostracized for driving "gas guzzlers". I have a 96 Jeep Cherokee and have no desire to change that. i love my vehicle, we use it daily and it fits our family perfectly. Then should we talk about health care? National security? Holy crap that one really scares me. How about investigating the previous administration. That would be grand, then we can charge our current administration with treason.

Try going after the government. Good luck! These guys don't care. They will get the same paycheck regardless of who gets paid what. They have no incentive to do a good job. That's why they suck at everything they try to do. Obama is calling this Cash for Clunkers a big success! Watch what happens to new car sales in the next 2 months. Also, they destroyed a few thousand cars that poor people need to buy. Small repair shops will also be hurt because new cars don't need to be fixed as much as older cars.

Carson, they only care when there is an election coming up. This couldn't come at a worse time for them.
