| GI Joe movie ....a technical junkie  | | | |  Recently a friend of mine told about this hollywood movie which is a technical junkie like MI 3. another movie has come with the same technical junkieness called "Transformers ...". Hollywood is known for sensible cinema but also they make sometimes mindless crap. Some of the reviewers tored apart those films which are high on technical substance but less on screenplay or realism. GI Joe is a film where its just pop corn stuff but you will not have any sweet memories to cherish or remember any super hero kinda of stuff..

| |  I agree with you, but I think the tag you put on these movies is too much. Of course, they cannot compare to those classic movies. Since a lot of people went to watch, I assume they have something we want to get.
I watched both of them, because I was a big fan of "Transfomers", the carton serial. And I also want to watch movies that dont need to think, they have tremendous CG, but weak story. Just like "Fantastic 4", they are for people like me just want to have a break from a long day work.
The technical junkie seems unfair to the producers of those movies, we can see the effort they put in the movies.
