Hello my dear mylotters,
Do you spoil your kids?
Or are you a desciplinarian parent(s)?
I train my kids from very young age,as far as i can remember,i started teaching my daughter simple household chores when she is 9 years old,and so with my second son,and my youngest one.
From cleaning their own rooms, cooking simple dishes(cooking rice, frying egg/hotdog.cold cuts etc)
Saving cents from their allowance,so,when they want something to buy for themselves they can have it from their savings.
Collecting scraps from our own surrounding...used papers/bottles which they can sell and add to their savings.
How about you friends...how do you teach them?
And to single ones...how does your parents teach you /raised you as a kid.

Hello Letran,
That was so sweet of you to take care of your niece and nephew.Your brother or sister could have been so lucky to have you.No need to pay a babysitter ..hahaha(joke my friend)
But yes..i would really appreciate your kindness taking care of little kids.
Good work...keep it up

Hello jaiho my friend, I appreciate you for teaching your kids a great values though you raise them alone. You're such one of the real good mothers on earth. I envy on you. It is just sad to say, we are not bless to have even a child...I think if someday we could have even one I will ask from you all the good tips of raising children...you're maybe my idol mother...cheers!

My children are spoiled to a certain degree being that they were the only grandchildren on both sides of the family for quite a long time. They have more material things than they need, but that time of their lives has also ended.
My daughter is six years old and she is now expected to do chores so that she can earn money. She is supposed to do the recycling and make sure the toys are picked up in the living room at night. My youngest, 2 years old, is supposed to try to help his sister with her chores so that he will actually do some when he is a bit older. We are fairly strict on them, but not so much so that they resent us.
