Yes there are big size sushi still you have to eat them all at once but of course you cannot swallow them you have to taste first to yumminies of the sushi and swallow it bit by bit.

sophisticated_boy (527) | 4 months ago | If it is big size sushi, I usually eat only half of them first and eat the rest afterwards. But I give a try on your suggestion:)

It took me a couple of months practising before I could use them for sushi. Now I am quite used to it. I don't drop things on the table any more! Ha ha!

| | 3. animegirl334 (1646) | 4 months ago | I'm Chinese so I already use chopsticks all the time when I eat but I like eating some food differently to feel another culture though. Sometimes I make porridge and eat them with the really long silver spoons because it feels more Korean.

Laksa is a popular spicy noodle soup from Malaysia. I'm start using the chopsticks by holding it with both hand, each hand with 1 chopstick. Its hard to make the noodle got into my mouth but its fun.

| | 7. OrangJuice (416) | 3 months ago | I can use chopsticks well when eating Chinese dishes and Japanese food, as I'm a Chinese. But metal chopsticks in korea restaurant make me suffering, because they are heavier than ones in China and Japan.
You know, it's interesting! In the past, in literary families, they have strict rules on using chopsticks, e.g. how to hold the chopsticks. So my peers think my post of holding chopsticks is good, but I know not. Comparing with my mum, my post is not good.
If you pay attention on it, you will find those who are good at skills of chopsticks, their chopsticks seldom cross, and the middle finger as the fulcrum.
It's quite interesting! Hehe...

eclecticsteve (167) | 2 months ago | I don't think I use chopsticks correctly, but I use them "more" correctly than other people. Thank goodness I don't have to follow any chopstick use rules in the United States - I'd always be scolded for using chopsticks incorrectly. I agree with the metal chopsticks in the Korean restaurants - it takes getting used to, but so does using short and long chopsticks. I'm Japanese and I am less proficient using the long chopsticks Chinese use, and I have Chinese friends who experience the same with the short Japanese chopsticks.

| | 8. eclecticsteve (167) | 2 months ago | It is funny that when I eat at an Asian restaurant, and the restaurant has both chopsticks and a knife and fork set, my non-Asian friends who know how to use chopsticks will use the chopsticks, and I sometimes will use the knife and fork. As for sushi, I always use chopsticks, as I think if I used a fork, the sushi would crumble before it hit my mouth. Chopsticks are like fingers, so as long as you don't mind cutting food with your teeth, you can use them to eat anything.
