| Xbox 360 Elite and PS3 Slim are the same price now  | | | |  In response to the new 299 Sony PS3 Slim Microsoft has ditched the Xbox 360 pro and brought the price of the elite to 299. Both consoles feature 120GB hard disks but the PS3 includes Wifi whereas you have to buy a 129 dollar addon in the 360. There is also Blu-ray onboard. Would you now buy a PS3 or an Xbox?

| |  Given the choice I would go for PS3.
PS3 uses blue-ray disc. Xbox uses HDDVD.
Blue-ray and HDDVD are competing standards for high definition media discs, some years ago.
But HDDVD lost and its development was already discontinued. It is already abandoned by major companies, one is toshiba.
This is the reason i will choose PS3.

| |  I would buy the PS3..My hubby likes to play these stations. He has preferred the PS over the XBOX. He now owns a PS2 and has wanted the 3 for awhile now. He has been laid off for a little while and now maybe things are looking up. If things work out the way that I think, then he can get one of the new PS3 for his birthday in Nov.
