getting things taken off that both the seller and buyer agree on

Recently I bid on and won several items from one buyer. I realized after that one of the items was not what I wanted so I informed the seller about the mistake. We went through the process of having that item deleted but now when I try to pay for it ow on Pay Pal the item still shows up and I cannot pay without having to pay for the unwanted item (even though the seller has said that it is alright). I wrote an email to eBay abut this and am waiting for an answer. Why did the item not wanted not disappear from the won list? Has this happened to you and what did you do to correct it?

I have had some disputes on the past and got them solved in my favor. It is vital that your argument is reasonable and you can back up the agreement you said you had with the seller, most commonly with back and fort emails, messages, etc. between you two. You should be ok unless you're missing something.

We both got the message from eBay that the item was deleted, but I still cannot send money to him by eBay without having to pay for the unwanted and deleted item.

You can leave as it is for a couple of days until you get a response from eBay, as I said, if your argument is reasonable and you can back it up they'll help you. Give it a day or two, and unless the vendor keeps bugging you about it, reply to eBay or Paypal.

I finally got a response. Ebay said to just uncheck the item before I push Pay Pal. It worked so now the seller has been paid and i will be getting the items that I want. I got hold of the seller within 10 minutes of finding out my mistake and she said that she woud take it off of the order. I just had to figure out how to pay without having to pay for the unwanted item.
