The Funny Things Kids Do....

I cannot get past letting this one be known. The last day of summer vacation for my kids was a blast. I returned home from work in the mid-afternoon to find my 7 yr old and two 10 year olds cracking up. Apparently the babysitter - just a teen herself, and my 7 yr old daughter fell asleep on the couch. Most definitely tired after a long summer of playing, swimming...you know all of the fun stuff you get to do when you are not in school. Anyway, she fell asleep and with the babysitter out as well the 10 yr olds decided to tar and feather them. Ok, not exactly tar, but they got into my husband's shaving cream and smeared it all over their faces only leaving the eyes, nose and mouth uncovered. Then one of them had a bright idea to pluck some (a lot) of feathers out of my old down comforter and plaster them all over their faces. They accomplished their task before either of them woke up and had a video on their cell phones to prove it. The kids were so tickled. It was great to see them end a summer's vacation on such a fun note. I can't say I was too pleased about them getting feathers from a hole in my comforter because they made it bigger, but it was worth the smiles and laughter after a long day at work. I guess the mischieveious side of me was really proud that they pulled it off. Wish I were there to see it. What kind of funny stunts have your kids pulled?
