To be frank, I'm Surprised!! so that's double payout in a month! that too without the help of referrals! that's great earning potential.

Forget trying to work out a payment per post here as it doesn't work like that and speculating about the earning system here is breaking the rules.

Purely by participating in discussions only $30-40 is achieveable in a month.

I know several members who make $2-300 per month with tasks and discussions.

Add ACTIVE referrals to the above and earnings here can be significant if you put the effort in.

I don't want to be seen as giving false earning expectations to anyone and to earn these ammounts you do really need a relatively high star rating as it makes a lot of difference to earnings.

Responding to other members discussions has always been the way I earn the most as it is easier to respond to one discussion with a good quality post than to have to come up with many comments on your own discussion.

Wow, I can't imaigine earn that much. They must be very hardworking. I've joined mylot more than a year ago, i still didn't earn as much as 20$, maybe that's because i don't frequently sign in here.

I earn by making one response, the original poster comments then I get back and comment again, then they do and then I do and then they do.... and we get a discussion taking place INSIDE a response box. That earns. Two or three of those a day and it adds up

Referrals are something I've never bothered with, here or anywhere else. I don't have the gall to ask people! I only reach payout with tasks added on to my postings, as I don't have the time to spend here on discussions alone.

but early on, I did reach payout just with discussions. When I worked out what my rate per hour was, it was so depressing I gave up coming here for cash, and just used it as a fun place to hang out instead. It took 3 months to reach payout. I actually had a life again!

Then Tasks came along (sigh)

Getting referrals is really easy.All you have to do is to start a blog with a small review of myLot & put your banner over there & put your link in some traffic Exchange sites or there are plenty of options for free ads. you will atleast get a couple of referrals in a week.
Once you learn the tricks & tips of myLot, I think earning here will be easy as well as fun.

Well, mike certainly open my eyes about earning potential here at mylot. But eventhough without knowing that, I still think that myLot is one of the best place to earn online cash. I really recommend this to people who seeks for income opportunity. I am now trying to figure out, just like mike once told us, how to earn atleast $1 in a day, here at myLot. I guess as long you comment as many as u can, that would work...

Its basically how much you write. Let it be comment, response or posts. try to give +ve to those discussions which you like & also to those responses & people will do same back to you also & hence as a family, we can definitely earn more.
Now for earningv $1, you need to write a lot, atleast for 8-9hrs a day mylotting

Mike how do you do that? I've been here for 2 months and I've only made $1.32. I sign in almost EVERY DAY.

I think the best I earned is $1. however it happened only for a day as I was active on myLot for more than 9hrs. Its simple, the more you write the more you earn, with quantity & quality.

Certainly all are possible here, just it need more
time and also need to post quality discussion.
When you have posted quality discussion it will brings you good

is the searchbar.
Insert a few words that will be in your topic
THEN HIGHLIGHT 'DISCUSSIONS'
and search.

If there are any previous discussions they will usually show up.
If not you can hit 'full text' and they will then appear.
Try altering the words that you insert too.

I never tried it because I thought that was a yahoo search bar. By the way is there any way by which we can know who has rated you in responses?

No way whatsoever to know who has rated.
All we can know is whether we have received more plusses or more negs by the value of our star.
The higher the value, the more plusses.

Oh, It would have been better if we could know to return the favors!!

Ive been wondering to ask u guys this: how in the hell you got a star rank above "ur head". Is it from someone mark your comment as best response? ( I got that one), or any other procedure? Really, envy u guys, guess it also help with earning hah?

Well don't worry, you too will get a nice star once you reach a rank of 100. There will be a number inside the star,known as reputation, which will increase as you get more +ve rating on posts & comments.

Some times I feel a little hesitant in responding to discussions more than 2yrs old because most of them will be abandoned but still if the topic seems interesting why not! An interesting thing is that when we respond to a discussion rears old, It will come under recent discussions & people again starts responding to it. It really nice.

Hm. That is hard if we do that without any referral, but you still can do that. Just post as much as you can on myLot and try to make a long response, because as i see beside the HTML area there's a text "Please be as descriptive as possible" and I think it means myLot will gives us more cents when we post a descriptive post/reply. And usually a descriptive post= a long post. I don't say always, but usually. Because that I always make a long and descriptive post when I response to a discussion or reply to a response.

As I can See from your posts you are really descriptive. well that' nice. However I feel that once you are too descriptive, then you will have less posts in your name. I think the number matters.what do you think?

Don't forget that you only earn 25% of your referrals participation earnings which doesn't include tasks or your referrals referral earnings.

Making many short posts probably wouldn't earn as well as a less number of really good quality posts.

I think quality is determined by how people rates you right? so what if people are not making any ratings(I think many of them are not rating)? how can the quality increase in that case???

I have bad experiences with task. I think ive completed task, twice. But none got paid afterward. I never thought about doing another task, since. And didnt want to bring it into dispute either with the last. But I agree inviting referral are good way to earn not only in mylot but in all other earning program esp online.

Ya its true that sometimes tasks can be a bit task!! Many at-times for 5 cents you will waste atleast 30-60mins of yours & get nothing, so its better that in that time you can make atleast 15 responses & earn 3 times more than what you get from you tasks! However if you are confident that you can make earnings with task, then nothing like it!

that is the reasons all our members would advise to get more referral
in order to make good and extra incomes. So try your best to have
the referral which may brings you some good income without doing

YA, Getting referrals is the key to boost your earnings in almost all the GPT(get paid to) programmes. However, for many getting referrals would be a hard task because many don't know how to get referrals. If you have a catchy title and you comment on the responses that you receive then your discussion will be visible for your friends to see in their 'freinds started' tab.

If you make good use of tags your dicussion will also be visible in the 'similar discussions' column to the right of any discussion open that has the sane tag>>>>

If you post a discussion and then go off to watch a movie it will probably die a natural death. You must try and keep it alive.

Nice to see your follow up, well I would like to Inform yo that whenever some one rates you +ve for your comments, your reputation increases. Means the number inside the star increases & if someone marks us negative, the reputation decreases. If we rate others, they will also rate you & hence will be able to build up a nice reputation which can indirectly help you in your earnings.
Also If you rate a discussion, the more the +ve rating, it will come in top discussions of the day & hence more people can see it & comment on it
so I always make it a point to rate Discussions, responses & comments.

Ya by doing tasks, we can earn a bit more, however i think there are Limited tasks available & I don't think we can complete all the tasks given there as some wont be possible to work on.

This is a question asked by many newbies, however there are no fixed calculation given . It all depends on the quality & quantity of posts you make. you can earn by either responding to discussions or by making new discussions. you earn for whater ever you write provided the it has quality. you can easily earn around a dollar per day if you are really active.

Even I came to know recently that myLot does have a good earning potential. Since there are members who reaches double payments in a month, it would be interesting to know how much will be our personal best in terms of earnings. I think earning this figure will happen only if you are really active with quality posts. Right?

I think $30 is possible if you have a great number of referrals under you, rightly as Wahyuqe told. However without the help of referrals, hm well I will believe better if could see it myself or from someone who could tell that they had made it.

Maybe you meant $20 per month?
No way $20 in a day is possible from discussions.
It may be possible with tasks and a few thousand referrals although I have never heard of anyone making $20 per day here.

Ya $20 a day is no doubt impossible even if you work for 24hrs. I think it's $20 a month Richiem meant. Now regarding the referrals I'm not sure if there is any limit to it? like a maximum of 100 referrals below you or something like that!

There is no limit to referrals that I am aware of.
The only thing to remember is that there is only a single level downline here so you only earn for referrals which you get directly.
You don't earn anything from any referrals which your referrals get.
I wish they would add extra levels here and then there would be serious money to be made here

Mike, Already you've showed that it is quite possible to earn More than $1 on some days so imagine getting multi level references also!.
