What was the subject of the last SPAM email you got?

Yes, winning the lottery seems to be the subject of most of the spam I get. It's even starting to come in my real mailbox now looking like publishers clearing house.

I usually post them to each other with a grin, but the last two made me seethe.

One was from a so-called blind woman, purporting to be dying of cancer. The other was from a "soldier" who was "on leave from Iraq" ... This was just sick. There are real people with these problems, who would never dream of writing to a stranger about it. How dare they feed off of genuine misery?! Needless to say, I played "swapsies" twenty times over with those.

Previously, I got two in French. These were soooo compelling to answer in Swedish, that I used Babelfish to translate them in full, and did just that.

Seriously, though. This is becoming a real problem, and needs to be stamped out by the powers that be. Phishing likewise.
