You are so brave, i think, because you bought a domain name and its hosting package without first deciding what to do with those things. But don't worry because if you have a website concept, you can start to make it. Just put an under construction page to your domain hosting, so if you have a visitor to your site, they will get notice about it. Buying a domain and hosting without knowing what you want to do is a pretty big mistake...But I made it as well, so I guess I'm just a big hypocrite.

Make it on whatever you want, but be sure to follow these few guideline:
1. Make sure it's something that interests you. This way you'll always have something to write about. Plus, if you don't enjoy writing it shows in your content.
2. Try and pick something unique. There are already way too many "Make Money Online" sites out there, so definitely avoid that.
3. Keep writing. Google and other search engines love new content. Look to publish one new page of content every day for at least the first three months, and start your site with a big burst of at least ten-twenty pages of good content for the engines to find. The more you write, the more google has to find.
4. Links! Link to pages in your site, link to websites similar to yours. Google LOVES links. If you write a page about food, and you mention apples, then make the word "apples" a link to your webpage on apples. This helps google index your site and find all the pages. If you linke to someone else, email them and let them know. If they're friendly they'll linkback, which can cause a huge boost in your traffic depending on the site.

the simple way to make website is use frontpage. You only make design and writing in frontpage, so you must save your frontpage in HTML (index.html). Or You can use macromedia dreamweaver, that is more artistic website maker.

After you buy domain and hosting, try to login in hosting. So, you click on CPANEL. Your url for cpanel is www.yourdomain/cpanel, so you must login with ID and password. After that, click "FILE MANAGER" folder and click "PUBLIC_HTML". Place your index.html here.

After you save your cpanel editing, You can see your website.

For make a link, you can browse in google with keyword "make link in website". I think a lot of tutorial website there.

Placing banner is very simple. If you get that banner code, you only copy and paste to your website editor (frontpage or dreamweaver), you can choose where is the banner will added. If you make your banner, place first your banner file (jpg, png, gif) into image folder in your "File manager" in you CPANEL. Or you can use photobucket for storage your banner. So you only make a html code.

first you need to understand that a website's name or URL is also as important as the content. you have bought a domain space before planning, which is not preferable.
You must sort out the reason(s) for building the website.
if it is for money that you are building it,
then you must put up ads on your website(preferably Google ad-sense) and also put some interesting material/content which is in demand, Or in other words, which is needed by the people and attractive as well. You will be paid for each clicks on the ads. you can also add a Google search bar in your website which pays you for any search that is performed in your website through the search bar.
you should make the website compact and simple, i.e., the data spread on the website must be organized. the information should be divided into several parts..like homepage, galary, contact us, etc.

Websites are very difficult to make. If you are not using a website maker, you need to be very familiar with coding. You can learn to code in PHP HTML ect...There are many tutorials online that you can find to help you out.
