Nature vs. Nuture; The Gay Issues Continue  |

 Research has shown that people are not born gay, although there is continued debate as to the primary cause of same-sex orientation. In general, theories suggest that homosexuality is said to be the result of a blend of variables: environment we are raised in, and in which we live, events which may shape our lives in one way or another, and genetic factors.
Incidentally, homosexaulity is not a psychological/psychiatric disorder, and therefore has long since been an exclusion from the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV)4th Ed.
I wonder what your opininons are, and how did you arrive at that conclusion?

None of the research I have investigated had factored any relious views into the study. Without being disrespectful, religion should not be factored into any scientific research of this nature. According to psychoanalytic theory, the cause may be entirely different from a social theorist. I do not have a solid opinion of my own because there is no concrete proof. This is why most analysts believe there could be many variables at work, not just one single reason. This sounds more like an attempt to stir the pot. There was a time when African Americans were thought to be inhuman and there was even research to back it up. You continue to reference these unnamed sources. For the second time, please identify them. Give me a website, an author, a clinic, a university, something. It's only fair.
