What to do with that stain  | |  Well I think tuesday when I get paid I am going to have to restort in getting an area rug thanks to my youngest son spilling kool aid on the carpet in the living I think it's impossible to get red kool aid out I used resolve on it as soon as it happened plus later that day I even shamppooed the carpet and that stupid stain is still there we were planning on getting new carpet put in but not for another couple of months so I thin until then I am just going to get an area rug to put down cause of all things it right out in the middle of course of all places. Does any one use area rugs, do you use them to cover those stuborn stains that wont come up or just to simple decorate.

| | | | | | | | 1.  StarBright (1178) | 4 months ago |  Area rug are great. They hide a multitude of sins. Have you tried hydrogen peroxide? That is great for getting blood stains out. Oxy-clean works well on some stuff. I swear by area rugs and throws when all else fails. The splash of color makes you look like a top notch decorator. Good luck.

doesnt work. When I had my own home I used several throw rugs just'to
cover stains too until I tried OxiClean.

| | | 3. thea09 (4543) | 4 months ago |  Hi christylynn, i have absolutely no idea what cool aid is but you say it's red, you could try putting salt on it and then rubbing it with a bit of white wine, it works on red wine stains. Just a thought.
We don't have carpets out here, tiled floors instead, with a few rugs around in the winter.
