How do you become a trainee in a retail management scheme?  | |  I'm 23, don't have any degree, but good high school grades. I'm wondering how I could go about getting a job with a retail company as a trainee retail manager.I have previous retail experience,but not in a management role.
Which would be the best company to apply to, and how would I apply?

| | | 2. zoey7879 (1254) | 4 months ago |  It's rare that a retail management job doesn't require both a degree AND previous management or supervisory experience. The best thing that I can suggest is to apply for a retail job, stick with it for a year or two, then apply for supervisor of a department.. and move up. Go to college as well... perhaps to study business. Other than that, unless by chance of pure luck I wouldn't expect anything retail related except maybe a salary position at Burger King or a convenience store. Not trying to be rude and break down your hopes, but that's usually what's wanted to get a place at the top.
