What would you do if your child got lost? |
|
I've been thinking about this ever since I read the news about the girl who came back after being lost for 18 years. What would I have done if I lost my child? I think I'd go crazy. I can't imagine life without my children. What would you do? And how do you think you'd cope with it? And how would you react if your child came back after 18 years?

1. coolcat123 (3637) | 5 months ago | it will be sad enough to live happily ever thinking about the lost child which was mine.A child is everything to the mother, and if that everything is lost then the mother would be lost...in tears, thoughts and then will the long journey of waiting begins. mother have to tolerate the sadness of parting from the child as their are nooption other than to try to get the child back. after such long time, if he child comes back home, i dont think the people will recognise him/her rather he has to introduce and tell everyone that i was the same person who got lost and now im back home.

UmiNoor (409) | 4 months ago | Yes as a parent especially the mother, you'd go crazy. I would to. My life is my children. If I were to lose any of them it'll be like the end of the world for me. There was one time when my daughter stayed overnight at my sister's house and she's supposed to come home the next day and I was to pick her up at the bus station at a certain time. She didn't turn up and I panicked. I almost called the police but then she finally showed up saying that she took the wrong bus and that took the whole day for her to come home. When I saw her I was just glad she was ok.

ZephyrSun (3507) | 4 months ago | That would be so scary. I don't allow my children to travel without me but they are only 13, 11 and 5. I've never let them ride a bus before and several years ago their father took them to Washington DC and they rode public transportation and I was so mad when I found out. I didn't look to see if you are in the US but, in my city the public bus is not good.

3. sublime03 (781) | 4 weeks ago | I lost my son 2 weeks back and it gave me the biggest scare of my life. My hubby and I together with my 4 year old son went to the grocery to buy some stuff and my hubby lost him. In the midst of a big grocery my son was able to tell the clerk my name and called me over the speaker.
But while I was standing in the midst of all the people shopping, my heart was pounding and everytime I see my husbands face with a frown and nodding 'no', I stop breathing. I thought I will never see my son again and how devastating it would be since I never left him snywhere like even overnight for me to miss him.
It is very painful to lose a son and now I definitely know how hard it would be if I lose him again. It was like God gave me a second chance and this time I will never lose him ever in my sight again.
