..No.. I definitely not.. Money is not the root of all evil BUT IT IS THE LOVE OF MONEY THAT IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL.. people love money so much that they do everything to have it.. Much love of money drives people to dream having more and more money because as a partner of money, they will have power.. People are not contented of what they have.. their love of money is associated with greediness.. as if they want to own everything in the world..

We currently live in capitalist society, and money is the basis of capitalism. In that sense, money is the root of all evil while it is also the root of all the good.

Let's put it this way; back in the days before civilizations, there were no such thing as money but people were purely hunting for food. When there is not enough food, people often go crazy to get more food thus compete with each other to do so.

When people started gathering in an organized group, they then started going crazy about land, to make food and get hold of other resources.

Now, we deal with money instead of land. The global economy cannot keep it's shape with barter exchange but rather have to deal with cash instead. As you've mentioned, it is the human lust for wealth and power that drives us crazy, but at the same time, make us moving. Without lust, humans would not advance but rather become extinct. That's the rule of nature - greedy one wins.

Money itself is not sin.The greed of human nature to spend money changed.Because money is an essential tool for people.No money to do nothing.Money is not used to very few.But the lord opening the eyes of money doing things.Look at the willpower to go on about how people's thinking of.A person not greed psychology.Money will not be changed to make people hate.But they can not do without.

I agree absolutly with your conclusion. Money is just the means employed by humans to have power. The evil lies in human nature, not in money itself. But also, in human nature, lies the capacity to do good things. And we have our reason and our concience to chose what to do and what to be.

They are lot of reasons for evils other than money.I dont agree that money is only the reason for evils they are other reasons too,money is just one factor.

Yes u are right money can be used for both purposes, for good or for evil but mostly we see that easy money earned goes on the evil side as the person doesn,t work hard for that money and thus doesn,t know its real value so can spend on anything for luxury and luxury brings all the bad things but if the money is earned by hard work a person thinks hundred times to spend it and at last he spends only on good things.

NO! money is not mainly the root of evil or of all evil but it's how you use the money that makes it EVIL. Being rich, wealthy and in power is fine but again, it is how you use your wealth and power that makes it good or evil. knife is very helpful when it comes to kitchen related chores but becomes evil when knife is use to hurt or kill somebody. as human beings given the intellect to know and do what is right and wrong must be wise enough to do good!

I don't agree with that opinion. Money can help us to help other person. We must become rich people. If we don't have money, I think we will do like evil.. rob, kill someone to their money... that is bad

Hi There, I don't think money is root cause of all the evils. Since money have both good and bad cause. If you use money in right way you will always find it as good thing. Money is a thing in a life which has no end for human hunger.

MOney is not the main cause for all the evil in the world.The incidents that come to us in our day to day life like burglary or mobbing etc If we think them as evilry then money is the cause of such evilry but if you talk evil in a large scope then it is POWER that is the main reason for all the evil in the world.. Ofcourse money comes with power.There are many examples in our history to convey this starting with Alexander the great,he never needed money all he wanted is to be the king of the entire world the same with Hitler saddam hussain mussolini etc.Money was not their main objective.Its POWER that blinded their eyes and it is lust for power that drives people mad
