Do you still used the service of sending of snail mail??

Does sending Netflix and Gameflys disks back count?:D
I only really use it for those and for sending money orders.

Yes, I have one or two friend who still don't have computers and they won't even consider getting one. I don't know why, but everybody has their own tastes I guess. So I write to them using snail-mail and they write back to me using snail mail.

I still tend to type out the message on my word processor though, as it feels similar to using e-mail. - Derek

I like using snail mail when I can. Not that long ago I was sending food packages to an on-line friend so we could sample the cuisine of our respective countries. That was great fun, though her last package got searched by customs which was a touch odd, but I don't think they took anything (she included a list of what was inside so we would have noticed something missing lol). In the past I have also exchanged letters with on-line friends when I have been away from the computer, and have their addresses so that if the Internet randomly dies I can continue stay in touch with them. I like that feeling and generally after sending a letter to someone, and receiving one back, I feel closer to them as it confirms to me that are a real person:)

So yep, I like snail mail and do on occasions still use it.

I haven't used it since we have email. Some programs like MY Myx appreciate snail mail than emails. Snail mails have more effort than typing mails and sending thru emails. They have a point there. But sending money in snail mail, you will be already dead you still haven't received the money. We are both lose confidence with our snail mail here in the Philippines. I hope they change the way they manage their job. As far as I remember it was being exposed on XXX. I don't know what happen at present.

I still have to use snail mail because alot of people do not have a computer or they do not like to sign online to read an email. I send snail mail at times when I have free postage also and I also send it certified to make sure it gets there and they have to sign for it and cannot say they did not get it.

I still used them from time to time. Regardless how the technology have evolve and documents are available on the digital world, some company still require us to send the hard copy of almost everything. It's frustrating. Why bother using the e-application if I need to send things via snail mail?

Sometimes I used snail mail to send cards especially during festive season. Digital card and real physical card has huge feeling attached while sending.

When it comes to sending money through mail, it isn't really advisable. You take the risk of losing it through mail. That's why if you want to send money from one person to another who doesn't have a bank account to transfer funds to, you just have to send the money through wire transfer.

Then again, even when your letter or the letter that your going to receive doesn't have money in it, there are still other reasons why you might not receive it.

I still send mail by post. I really like to write letters to those that I know and the last letter I sent was for someone's birthday. Handwriting adds that personal touch to your message that you won't experience with typing a message to be read in your email. Also, you don't get as excited when you try to open the mail compared to clicking one of your unread messages in your inbox.

Also, you can tell a good amount of things from a person just by looking at their hand writing (^_^ )

yes,we still do. we are in a government office and it is a sad fact that there are places which cannot be reached by emails or fast courier service.

we just have to make do with what it is now although most of the government agencies are catching up with technology.
