Do you prefer to have a baby girl or baby boy as your first child?

If i were to choose on my first baby's gender, i would go for the male gender. Because it's much more masculine. The responsibilities are better carried by the male type so it will be better if you have a male baby as the eldest child. But this is just my idea on babies it does not necessarily mean that this is true. Your idea will be the best idea for your discussion. the best thing that could happen to a family is having a healthy baby despite of the gender.

In my hometown, still many people have the attitude that Son is better than daughter. As for me, I like both, yes, healthy is most important!

well it doesn't really matter to me or to my husband what our child's gender would be 'cause all we know is that they're God's gift and blessing to us which we should accept wholely and love dearly. Our first child is a baby girl she's such an angel and so so sweet. Typically new mom's like girls for fistborn because they wanna have like a living doll which they can dress up and fix hairs while dad's aim for boys to be their playmates and such but that really shouldn't matter as long as it's your child why choose it's not like when you try making one you go chanting the gender right????

Nope, it doesn't matter to me. In fact, it didn't matter with my second child either. All that mattered to me was that they were healthy.

If I were to have another I'd want a girl. But only because my husband wants us to have a daughter. I on the other hand am satisfied with the size of our family. Though if we were to have one more that would be okay too.

well i wud definitely like to have a baby boy first then a baby female . as he`ll start earning quickly than her and will try to help her in her studies too:)

i hope that my first child is girl,i like her,i hope that she like me,looks beautiful and clever and intellengce,i can spend my time to decorate her,let her become more beautiful,loving.

If i were going to start my own family someday, i would love to have two or three children,baby boy as my first child.I think it would be better to have boy first because he will look after his younger siblings and it teach him to be more responsible and indipendent..But i dont really care what gender my first child is...if i were destiny to have baby girl as first child it would be great too.I will still be thankful.

For me, when I get married with my husband, we actually discussed this issue before, to have baby girl or baby boy for the first child. My hubs is from a traditional family, where he is the eldest son, so he might want to get a baby boy first.
After all my first pregnant, and we got so excited. It happened when the doctor told us the gender of the baby around the fifth month pregnant. Doctor said the baby is MISS WORLD! Oh my! I was kinda sad to hear about that BAD NEWS! I know gender should not be the issue as long as the baby is healthy I must be blessing. But I really hope to have a baby boy as my first child...

Hubby cheer me up, mother in law said to me first child is baby girl is good, she can help mummy to do house works, LOL.

So my baby girl was born and I am so happy to have her as my first child. Later I pregnant again and my second baby is a boy! I am counting my blessing to have a girl and a boy.
