Do you know any software that manages the space of your RAM?

I have heard of memory management software. Based on what you've posted, it sounds like you are running some version of Windows. If that is so, when it comes to memory management programs, I would advise you stay away from all of it.

If you are trying to "free up memory" then you may misunderstand what that means. Windows tries to use as much memory as it can by design. Memory which it cannot use, simply put, is wasted. You would be much better off learning how windows uses memory and virtual memory, and the difference between the two.

As far as making your computer faster, there is no program which can actually make your computer faster. There are some programs which can help you optimize your computer for the way you use it, but mostly, these programs do so by disabling features in Windows which you do not use, and disabling similarly unused programs which start when Windows starts. These are things you can learn to do yourself.

If you have programs installed which start when Windows starts, you might want to evaluate them, decide whether or not they are needed. If not, then you might consider removing them, but know what it is and whether or not Windows needs the program before you remove it. Too many times I've heard cases where the owner uninstalled something they assumed was unnecessary just because they didn't know what it was. Do your homework before removing that program you don't recognize!

It is growing now occoupied by the memory in the program.So we must increase the memory size of computer to meet our needs.Some programs can optimize the memory,but the effect is not significant.So,to really solve the problem,still hava to increase the memory size.Good luck.

NekoWahu's post above is right on track. I'll just give you additional info. You can remove unnecessary programs that are auto-starting with Windows (and using up system resources) by going to start>run> and typing "msconfig". When the configuration applet appears, just navigate to the startup tab and uncheck any program that you don't really need to autorun with Windows.

Windows utilizes virtual memory, which is basically a pagefile on your hard disk, aside from your actual physical RAM. You can increase the size of your virtual RAM by right-clicking My Computer and selecting Properties, go to advanced system settings and click on settings under performance, then go to virtual memory and adjust the size.

Now as to your first question about software that manages RAM, I think what you're looking for is what's called a memory optimizer or RAM optimizer. Just google those keywords and you'll find various programs under that category. CleanMem is one program that I remember using when I was still an XP user, so you might wanna give that a try.

The thing is u have got very little amount of ram at r disposal.
If ur using XP thats enough but if ur using vista,then ur computer is gonna be really slow.Best solution is upgrading to a min of 2 gb.But since you are looking for a program that optimizes RAM usage u better look at this free one that I use while gaming.

The software does is very simple.It shuts down for the desired period of time all the unnecessary programs that you don't want running and defragments your RAM so that you have more for usage.Its simple but effective.

I suggest you give this one a try.Its hasn't caused my system to slow down!So I assure you that it a good software.
