what to do with people like this....shocking.....  

unfortunately this is true, it's online on sky news, it's awful to see what this poor boy went through all because of a jealous ex and a spiteful sick minded girl, she is more to blame than the others, she knew what they were going to do and showed no concern for this boys safety, so she is just as bad as them, i hope they throw away the key, she doesn't deserve freedom, and neither do the ones who killed him....

yes it seems to be the younger generation who are killing kids in this day and age, it's horrible to even think about what that poor boy went through, he must have been terrified, i just hope these kids suffer when they are locked up, infact the way i feel about this is beyond words and i would gladly put these evil monsters out of their miseries...they are just vile nasty pigs and i blame their parents for the way they have raised their kids.

Hi after reading your response ,I have come to the conclusion that some parents do not have a clue these days.They allow their kids to see films and play games even adults cannot stomach ,they stay up to late at night,no proper rest and too much junk food and simple things like prunes on a friday night seem to have gone by the board.They don't check their diets to see if they are eating right,they assume kids bring themselves up.Bring back corpral punishment ,then they would be left in no doubt what was right and what was wrong,the kids have no boundaries and some parents don't even know where their kids are and who their friends are.I always knew because they were not allowed out of the door till they told me.The idea that once kids go to secondary school they are adults is so out of tune,even right up till my kids left home ,I still guided them and they still listened they still come and see me and don't hate me,they know I care.My youngest is sixteen and he has a lot of respect for me his family and others around him,but then I always look after him.he is taking Alevels in two years ,has friends,but knows when to move away from trouble,it is true you cannot be with them all the time and there are things they don't tell you,but to end up doing something like this to this poor boy is past all that.

horns, your not an old fogey, your absolutely right, this generation of kids are more likely to do crimes such as this because their perents were kids when they had them, they had no clue how to raise a child themselves, it's horrible to think of what that poor boy went through, he wanted his mum, he was terrified, and this lot made him suffer all because of a jealous ex and a selfish little bimbo...evil parasites the lot of them.

You are both right and I am so saddened that people just don't seem to get it.
It's not the "cool" thing to do; to take away popular things that might be harming our children. It isn't what the new age parents are doing that's for sure.
I didn't like my son's music and I didn't allow some of the game boy games that he wanted. So I set up some rules; no violence in movies til he was old enough to handle it. No videos;movies or music if I saw any changes. I told him that exactly like I just wrote it.
He understood and when he lost his temper he had to explain why he chose the way he chose to express himself. In other words he and I communicated...and I was the parent with full rights to veto anything I thought would harm him in any way.
My daughter loved Janet Jackson.....and she wanted to keep a cd someone gave her. I cannot stand the music but listened to the whole thing....and said no. She was furious. I told her that no 12 yr old was going to listen to a song called "Throb" unless they were talking about a mashed finger!
She got over it just like my son did.....
My grandma used to have a saying...."You'll get glad in the same pants you were mad in!"

a lot of them are just running wild and there parents have no idea (and probably don't care) where they are or what they are doing. I remember once when I was cycling home from work just after 10 at night, a boy who can't have been more than 6 or 7 (if that) suddenly started screaming abuse at me. I just ignored him and carried on, but what was he doing running about the streets at that time of the night? What sort of parents would let him wander the streets that late? It's beyond my understanding I know that.

i agree with all of you, the parents are as much to blame, if they put their foot down more often then nothng like this would happen, ok it's not the parents fault that these kids turned into evil monsters, but this could have been prevented by handing out a bit more discipline in their lives.

The trouble is, years of liberal government has produced a situation where it is illegal for a parent to smack there own child when it has done something wrong. I'm not a parent myself so I'm walking on thin ice here with all you parents out there, but how do you disipline a 5 year old who has done something wrong? reason with him?

The problem is, this has been going on now for so long that we now have children who are being brought up by parents who themselves were allowed to do pretty much as they liked when they were children. That makes them pretty hopeless as parents in my opinion.

Last year one of the women at work asked me if I wanted to take the cat that they had. I asked her why she wanted to get rid of the cat and she said that it had scratched her son who at the time was 3 or 4. So I asked her why the cat had done that, and she said that the boy had been tormenting the cat. So I asked her why she did not tell him not to do that and she said "Oh, he takes no notice of what I say to him"

I absolutely had nothing to say in response to that. I mean, if she can't control the boy when he's that age, what's he going to be like when he's a teenager in 10 years time? Another child killer in the making??

Actually Tatty; at least in our country it's more than that. It's society as a whole. We reward horrid behavior; we venerate people that don't deserve it; we look the other way because it's not "our" problem.
Until it becomes our problem when those kids do this kind of behavior.
I am at a loss as to how we got so far off track.
I remember a time when poor behavior was not only criticized but stopped dead in it's tracks. But now with social services being the "know all" of how to raise our kids (Please don't get me started on that!) and us not even being allowed to have a say in whether our kids use birth control and maybe getting abortions without our consent is it any wonder we are lost?
I am afraid it's only going to get worse here in the states. With the administration set to control all that we hold dear we are set for disaster.

it is horrifying to think what that poor boy went through, i know that if anyone did this to any of my sons, i would never get over it and i would be after the culprit/s who did it and when i found them i would put them through the most nastiest death ever imaginable, how could they do that to a poor kid, all he did was loved this girl and she tricked him, what a vile piece of scum this girl is, makes me ashamed to be himan, she is a nasty evil horrible excuse of a human being, if i were her mother i would be ashamed to admit she was mine, i would dis-own her for ever, i would not even acknowledge that i had a daughter, and i would never go to see her in jail. that poor boy, it brings me to tears just thinking about it, i hope they all rot and i hope they suffer while behind bars, someone inside will get hold of them and make them suffer and i hope it's slow and painful....if i had it my way i would have all of them put to sleep.

It would take a lot to disown my daughter but this would be it,I think I would kill myself to think ,giving birth to that evil little person.Words elude me on this as all he did was love her.

suzzy it would take alot for me to disown any child of mine but if i knew what thry did to another person then i would never ever forgive them, i would carry this with me forever, i would be ashamed of them and i would not be able to show my face because of something that my child had done, i wouldn't even want to live if one of my kids did this to someone else, i never raised them that way.

JW i find the kids of todays generation are far worse than any one else, they are now carrying guns and knives, they would kill for a burger if they were told to do so...the kids of today are thick because their parents forgot who they were, too young to have kids themselves, jeez your right, we could be in trouble in the distant future of something isn't done to control these animals...

This sickening situation is far from a one of a kind occurrence. These violent acts do, and are, happening daily across the nation and beyond. I can think of at least six similiar situations in the last year alone, all involving children and teens. The greater majority of the crimes are committed by adults - the same kind of adults these kids are going to grow up to be.

We have got to lobby for stiffer laws and penalties. These kids will be out in four or five years tops with good behaviour. Do you want to run into anyone of them five years down the road? I think not.

she is an evil creature, she knew exactly what was going to happen, she's never loved this biy, she just used and qabused him but he was blinded by love, he could't see any bad in her, her parents are just as bad as her, as the saying goes, idiot parents idiot child, they prolly don't have a clue and didn't have an morals so therefore she had none either, also it's alot to do with the people she hing out with, peer pressure, but there was no need for them to hurt this boy the way they did, he didn't deserve to die because of a scum bucket like her, she's filthier than pic swill, i hope someone gets her in jail and beats the last breat out of her and ket her see what it's like to die in pain.,...she doesn't even deserve to breathe the same air as us, also she will be out of jail in a few years, where's the justice in that, that poor boy died because he loved her and all she did was made his life hell...the others are dogs and should be put down like dogs...

pat, i have always believed that if the parents are thick then the kids turn out just like them, what kind of parents are they for their daughter and sons to turn out like this, they must be pure evil, i think all of them should have got life, not just a fe years, they will do half of their sentense and come out in no time, whereas this poor biy, he's never gonna come back and his family have been left torn apart, i know what i would do to these kids if i had the chance, it wouldn't be pretty that's for sure. they are jus throwbacks of society and should even walk the streets, lock em up and forget about them is what i think.

I agree tatty, if I found out that my mom or dad did something like this...then I would not want anything to do with them, EVER. I would worry what kind of family I am in and if I would be like them too. Even though I know I could never take a life or hurt anyone or anything.

sometimes in cases like this tamara, i wish the death penalty was still legal over here, these kids wouldn't stand a chance, put them in a jail somewhere like bangkok, they don't pity people who have done this sory of thing and to be honest them kids wouldn't last a week there, they would either be killed or kill themselves, they are treated like animals in places like that so this is where they belong....

sadly this is not a story, this really happened, i can understand how upset you feel, i too am upset by what these savages did to this poor boy, i hope they all rot in hell....
