So you too had love love feeling and did not fall somehow? I fell coming to college too and it was serious and had vowed not to separate in this life. But destiny had something else in store and we got separated and the poor me (?) have not seen her for the past 15 years.

Heartthrob which I believe you are still dreaming of the day to meet her, to know how she fares in life, to see her now in here gray hair, a little wrinkled face and probably a bit out of shape. You wonder what life would have been if she had been the one, the queen of your heart that runs the fortress and bear the fruit of love. It has been a chapter in history for every one of us who has been sailing in the sea of love once upon a time. May the memories once cherished be for keeps to cement the ongoing life of our (God) chosen mate. The bitter sweet memories lingers on.....I wish how I wish it could have been different. But believe me our fate lies in God's hand. Two souls braved sunshine and storm together, stand like two great trees, their branches intertwined, facing the sunrise of God's tomorrow. The lingering sweet pain prevails and loom large as I ponder over those years which is a history now. i hold exactly the image when we had last see of each other and now with gray hair here and there and an elderly look would squeeze my heart, may be she is not the person I was in love and was ready to fetch the star in the sky.

So it was 7 years wait and then union and again minus union but the tender memory are still lingering around like the aura of fragrance. Very nice if there is no regret. Do you see each other some time? How do you feel recollecting those days? I too loved and missed before we could finally unite. It was a long 5 years voyage and the ship could not rich the shore and there occurred shipwreck.

We have only caught a few times over the years and the last time was about three years ago and that was only by phone. We separated in an amicable way and hold no resentment for one another and we are both happy that our lives are content with new partners.

That is great indeed. Separated still there is no ill feeling towards each other and instead both are contended with each other's new partner. Really nice and feels lie a fantasy story.

So what happened afterwards? You have not detailed here.

Hi taz, so you were twice in love in school. I, however, not try to prescribe if bad or good but know that almost all we have the similar experience at that stage. Might be that is puppy love and when we grow up that love or infatuation vanishes and we have entirely a new definition of love. And it still keeps on changing colours.

Yes I accept what could have restricted you from falling in love. Specially girls in here have to be too careful not to get distracted by the boys. Home is the main hurdles and might be it was not so easy a subject to converse with each other.

Yes. She said she loved me, and we both cried on her last day. It was quite an early wake-up call for both of us I think! She was going back to the USA and my country is the UK. - Derek
