Is it allergies or is it a cold

I usually can determine that it's a cold and not my allergies by the spread of various symptoms like muscles aches, fatigue, and general rottenness that doesn't ease with medication. I hear you though, after battling allergy symptoms for a couple hours I feel like I've been run over by a truck. I have year round in-door and out-door allergies(lucky me) and they can be inconvenient to downright debilitating.

Sometimes it is very difficult to tell the difference between the two, especially since they can have the same symptoms. In fact, allergies can lead to more serious conditions such as sinus infections, bronchitis or worse, so sometimes it is better to go to the doctor and find out for sure. I know that my allergies can make me feel so bad and drain my energy so much that I have to stay in bed and drink hot tea and soup just like when I have a cold.

Hi christylynn,I have also an allergy due to some odorous thing,dust as well as perfumes.I dont really know how to cope up with this.According to my doctor it is Allergic Renaitis.He prescribed me a nasal spray as of now.Tanks and Have a nice day.
