Interracial Dating/ Dating in General.

I can't see much of a problem with your relationship. The problem is in you. You listen to what others tell you. You said you don't have problems with your boyfriend because you enjoy each other's company. So why do you bother to look outside of your relationship and get some problem from it? In the end, it is you and your boyfriend who will be together if time comes. The other people around you may say their own opinion, but don't allow it to interfere with your working relationship.

it's soceity, and it will probaly always be there about differences in skin color. but it will be the same about culture's as well, mixing. times have changed but many people haven't.
who cares what others think, long as you are both happy together. if you were both the same skin color, but looked a really odd couple people wouldn't care. like if you were a person who liked to be do up to the nines and your partner was laid back and didn't really care what he looked like no one would be caring about it,long as you were both happy.

I, personally, could not date someone not white but I'm not racist. I treat all people the same no matter what their color. It's just in dating that I am picky, not that I date because I am already married:). But it sounds like you and the bf get along and have a good relationship. If that's your choice, or if it was one of my kids, then that's okay.
It's unusual for the african american family to object, I think. But unfortunately, as an interracial couple you are going to have to put up with comments and objections. You'll have to ignore them. Or tell them it's your choice and they can express their opinion but you will be making the choice, not them. You do what makes you happy and all will be well.

I myself don't see any problems with your relationship at all. In today's changing society it is becoming increasingly more common for people to have interracial relationships. Yes, both my husband and myself are caucasian. However, many of our friends are from interracial relationships. Our daughter, who is six years old right now, I don't expect to marry a caucasian when her time comes. The world is changing and the caucasian race isn't nearly as prominent as it once was. I see her with either a hispanic or an african american honestly. And, as far as people and areas in this country in general, I can say that my daughter is actually a minority in her school.

It is the way everyone is brought up. If you are happy and
in love then it shouldn't matter what your race is.
They should want you to be happy. If they were to really
get to know your boyfriend and give him a chance they
would see how well he treats you and how much in love the two of
you are I hope that he will give him that chance for you.
I am glad that the two of you are really happy you just don't see
that too much anymore these days.

There is nothing wrong about dating a different race. If you too love each other that is really all that matters. Parents and siblings might be an issue, but if they really care about you, they will be happy that you are happy. Your happiness should be all that matters to your parents. People talk about others because they can't deal with their own issues and it is better for them to pick on others than look in the mirror and see their own imperfections and shortcomings.

I say do what you feel is best for you, it may be hard watching people watch you but oh well as long as your happy that is all that matters personally I love to see a mixed couple I feel this way if there was really something wrong with mixing races then why are the children so beautiful mixed kids are gorgeous I mean that is not a good reason to mix but if you think of it wow the mixture is amazing in my opinion

I don't see anything wrong with that. You are both happy together and get along so well. I would try to get your friends and family to get along with your boyfriend. Where I am from, I see lots of inter-racial couples out in public.
