Do you turn off the gas cylinder when you are leaving your house??

I do turn off the gas cylinder not only when we leave the house, but every time we're done cooking. It is always safe to turn off the cylinder to avoid accidents. It is better to prevent something than to cure when it's already done. It is already a habit for me and I think that it's a good habit. I teach my kids to always put off anything they turn on after they are done using it.

I always turn off the gas cylinder whne I am done with cooking for the time. I mean breakfast or lunch or dinner. Whenever I finish cooking and clean the gas stove, I also put the cylinder off. I also make sure that the cylinder is off when I go for long travels. Sometimes I forget to switch it off. Anyway, my husband keeps an eye on it.

yes we turn that off after every cooking. it is always better to be safe.

Whenever our whole family goes out on a vacation for many days then we do switch it off before we leave!! ur right it should be done...
But not everyday when ur leaving home,specially if someone is already there in the house to take care of things!
