You have to thrive off of the memories and the greatest moments that you shared with your mother.
I know that it seems as if you didn't realize how much she meant to you until she was gone but honestly, you knew. She lived in your heart deeply before she passed and now that she has gone home, a piece of your heart has been taken. But understand that even though she isn't here in the physical, she is near you in the spirtual. Her soul still lives, the only thing that isn't with you is her shell. Everyone has a gaurdian angel and your mother is yours.

2. mouse27 (1064) | 4 months ago | i can understand you wishing you spent more time with your mom. but really even if you had you would still be wishing that you had more time with her. so instead of wishing for more time remember the time you did spend with her and how much love she gave you. then take that love and pass it on to others that need some of a mothers love, because we all know that this is one of the best kinds of love. your mother will always be in your heart and she will always be that little voice in your head that tells you that its going to be ok all you need to do is look inside your heart and you will see

5. lawana_f (288) | 4 months ago | Sharon, I know that loosing your mom was hard, I lost both of my parents several years ago and it is normal to feel the way you do, and in many ways you will feel that way for years to come. You will come to cherish the times you did spend with your mom and know that she always wanted you to have your own life without her being the center of it. She only wanted you to be happy and do well in life.
It is my prayer that you do that now, missing her is not going to make you happy so give the pain to God as much as humanly possible and move forward. That is what your Mother would have wanted for you. Work through the pain and be the person she would expect you to be.
A mothers love is forever, just like Our Father's love and you will always be loved by her as you are by Him.

6. SurveyPrincess09 (183) | 4 months ago | Hello Sharon,
I want to extend my sympathy to you for loosing your mom. I also want to Welcome you to MyLot.
I can totally relate because I lost my dad back in 2003. That empty feeling never goes away. It will always be there and you will always miss her no matter how much time passes. At least that's how it is for me.:(
Just know that she is in a better place and you will get to see her again. She is your gardian angel.:) Watching over you all the time. I know it's easier said than done. Just pray that God gives you the strength to keep going.
My prayers and thoughts are with you.
Take care and happy MyLotting Olivia~

8. muscles4me (9104) | 3 months ago | I know this is an older discussion and it looks like you are no longer on mylot but I am glad I read it. I still am very luck to have my mom, she just turned 89. I spend only about 3 days a week about 4 hours each with her. I feel bad because even though I love her dearly there are times I wish I could be at my own home. She is all I have left and I hope I have her many more years.

9. free_man (531) | 3 months ago | Hello Sharon I am so sorry for your loss of your mother. I too have lost both my parents many years ago and I can say that I still miss them. But I know they are in Heaven with God and doing a lot better then the living are doing. It tells you that in the bible when we die we all go back to the Father in Heaven. I know it is hard for you to see and think about your mother being gone. Heck she is still with you dear she is looking down at you and making sure you are protected from all harm. She loves you but God might have a mission for her. I am so sorry for your loss but she is in a lot better place then we are. It says somewhere in the bible to weep for the birth and rejoice for the death. I don't know where it is said but I will try to find it for you.
