Why you can't marry your relative?

why in my home town living in the forest, its legal?

If you marry someone related to you up to first degree your babies going to have a defect or abnormality. During the old days the rich and powerful people married their relatives so there power or fortune would not be transfer outside their kin. I think if you marry your relative the society going to judge you. My mother told us that in their province there's a rich family that married their relatives because they want to retain their fortune. There children have abnormalities.

And then that is whereI say if you are ok with your kids being abnormal then hey go for it. Not my kind of thing but for some people, it's a ok. I'll never understand but there are alot of things I won't understand.

So you mean this is all religious stuff? But when it comes in civil rights, is this a legal act?

Have any one seen God? Did You have any direct contact with God??? My dear learn2earn their are religion(or rather God) which ask it's followers to marry their own people,like when a Niece get married with the maternal uncle specifically in Muslims society they find it very correct one, to follow the God commands,and I am sure you too know it very well, then Your God and the God of Muslims faith are in direct conflict,so it's all rubbish!!! what really matter is that your Wisdom,your judgment,your upbringing,and so on.
Again please notice the civilization; which was the older one, and the religion associated with it;at that time they were ignorant scientifically just like wild animals but have hugh flexibility to do the research through error and trial and there by came into a concrete ideology while the latter religion more or less were a kind of revolt from the previous one which gave birth to a whole new religion and again another revolution and another religion with totally different ideology.So this chain reaction continued (here one thing is important that the latter religion were indirectly proportional to TIME that is to say that the latest one or the latter one are having less time to think for....therefore no such trial and error episodes...,an accidental religion without any base of its own,hence a ridged one).
At the end there is only one all mighty God,and remaining all the other things or the problems are created by we human beings and therefore the time tested methods are the best one and therefore few are lucky one's who belongs to the earliest civilization by product while the latest are the roughs one.Go into the History one will find all the truth about their future..... So find it out your self and be fair to your thinking.....

Well, that's the only reason why muslims even after being given special rights and more facilities are backward as compared to other religions.
Believe it or not you try to increase your population by producing more babies. But while others by making newer relations with marriages.
It gives the whole community a refreshing, and rejuvenates all.
People like the relations very well.

Ahh, i didnt know that. If you have a blood line problem it will be probably have high possibility that the children will get the bloodline diseases.

I just read all of the comments here and most of you give negative vibes towards having a baby. How about the two person have a genius genes from einstein and thomas edison, would it be great if your child will going to invent a futuristic device that no one can ever imagine like a "teleportation device". Hi Mike, I think that it is still legal in the U.K. from Queen Victoria's time when some of her children were married to cousins. Europe and Russia one big family. I had friends who were first cousins and married. The sad thing was that they were the product of the union of two sisters marrying two brothers. She never even changed her name. One of her two sons has real mental issues but both of her sons who are now in their late 30's have never married or had children. My friends are still together but their children do not live in the same country and see them perhaps once or twice a year. Personally, I always thought that they were somewhat selfish to have children. They were so close relatives that the wife never even changed her name. I agree with you that it is awful for the collective gene pool.
