do you believe that everything (even failures) happens for good??

Hi nonstopthinker.SO how are you now?Well it is really difficult to talk about this topic.Though I like this statement very much because it creates lot of optimism inside you but I dont trust it completely.In fact I dont believe in any other psychological and superstitious talks.If something bad happened to you then it is now responsibility to make sure that something equally good happens to you..

well that is true everything happens for good, but this is only half true in my opinion sometimes it also leads to your failure that good,actually it is what we do so hard that if you had a downfall they say everything happens for good,not for any kind of accident or misfortune, it cant be said as a good one, a bad omen..there are times we get happy time for the sad time that had already caused pain in life, and friend don't expect everything in life to be sweet, there may also be ripe things too that may lead to disaster, but then again if you are lucky then you may pass out good enough..

First of all, I would like to say that you have been into a situation where you learn many things. I believe that God has a purpose in everything He allowed us to experience. Most of those are our choices and of course we suffer the consequences of our action. In the long run, as I remember those times in my life, I am still thankful that those things that happened in my life earlier has a purpose. I hope that you see the bright side of things that happened to you.

it depends.sometimes u can see the apparent benefit of something u had taken as failure.othertimes u fail to rationalise how hard u may try even after long time have passed.

While I am not sure that everything happens for good, I do think that living through these tough times will make you a better person. Sure, they suck big time but aftrwards you can say 'I did it' and feel accomplished and good about yourself.

I think this is not good for success activity. i don not believe with everything (even failure) happens for good. Why? because, if failures is good, i think, we will becomes a man who could never tried to do things carefully and precisely. Not always that failrues is success pending.

Hi nonstopthinker. How r u..? What bad things happened to you is sorry state of affairs and I part with your sorrows. But one thing... you must also be knowing..failures are steps to success. You are facing with many failures means you are going to achieve a great success in the near future. We should be optimistic. One of my friends once had to attend one's marriage function next day morning; he missed the last bus in the previous day night and there was no other direct bus to the place of marriage which was more than 200KMs away from his location. He was not prepared to travel changing buses here and there and therefore he cancelled his trip. In the next day morning he saw a news that the same bus in which he was to travel met with an accident and many passengers died or wounded. He missed the bus and therefore could not attend the marriage; that was the bad thing for him at that time; but had he traveled in the same bus what would have been his fate... So not traveled in that bus was good thing. How bad turned good for him. Maximum we should be cautious to meet bad things; but once it comes in it's own way we can't help it. We should take it for good. I hope you are now in the path of successes.

Yes this is true everything happens for our own good. god know very well i want situation that person should be in. If it good or bad memories surely it is for our benefit. We will not come to know as and when we face some difficulties after some tme we relaise that it for our own good.

Well, nonstopthinker, I too am facing the same situation and this is hwt all are telling me.Last year, i had a bad accident in Dayton,Ohio and my car was totalled.Luckily no other car or person was hurt, but I had hairline fractures in 2 areas of both my legs.I never took it seriously and did things as usual.However I began to notice small swelling and worse, one day had a fall from the stairs breaking my legs, in tibia.The end result was bone loss and well the bones having hairline fracture plus this was really troubling.So we underwent a drastic illizarov surgery where we removed the affected bones and allowed new bones to grow.I should say it was the worst pain I felt.due to all this happening I quit my job and well, was hospitalised for nearly 8 months and now i am job huntung.People are saying it happened for good.But i really don't know at this point of time.Thanks!

First up, hope your hand is getting better... about this "everything for good" thing, I partially do believe in it. Not just becoz all say that but thats the way life is. To be relaxed and fresh you need to believe in good and hope for the best. When people say this.. they just want to relieve you from all your worries.. There are occasions when we feel like things are doing no good at all. But who knows.. whether this will play a major role in your life. Hope your life obeys "Newton's 3rd law" here after at the least!
