Can you sleep with music??

Yes, I can sleep with music. Sometimes I fall asleep with my ipod on. But I don't need any background noise and can sleep without music too.

Maybe you should get headphones so you don't disturb your sister?

Yes, i can sleep with music on, as long as it's not EXTREMELY heavy, like Metal or Electronica .
I think your sister should get earplugs if she can't sleep with music, hah .

When I was a teenager I liked to listen to the music a lil lower when I slept or took a nap. Nowdays, I prefer the silence or "white noise" of a fan going while I sleep. And I usually don't have the radio on in my van because I can't hear what my kids are saying. But if I"m alone in the vehicle, I do tend to crank it up a bit;0)

I often make my nephew and niece to sleep with the musical background. I'll put on some sounds that will be really mesmerizing the inner part and induces sleep. My brother usually gives his kids to me to make them sleep when they were kids. I play music and I am a deep devotee of music. So, I usually test their senses on with some light music and heavy music. They will sometimes cry with heavy metal music. But they are relaxed, when I play a melody.

The music really depends on the type and loudness. Even a melody becomes awful if it is loud more than a limit.

There are music and sounds which induces sleep but loudness creates noise in the music. So, I think that loud music can never be enjoyed by everyone. In my home, my dad usually shouts me for loud music but listens mostly to a melody.. Hope you got something from this...

Well, people grow and as we grow, our likes and dislikes as well as lifestyle also grows along. In other words, change happen from time to time. In my case, I used to listen to music a lot. But now, I rarely do. However, I can sleep with music on the background for as long as the music is soft.

Hello joannaleed. I used to sleep with music on, but now I listen to some audible novels as a way to make me fall asleep and I love it. I can sleep all the way till day breaks with it playing all the time.

HI joannaleed.I have no idea why your sister thinks that way.But with me it does not matter if there is sound or no sound.All I want is cool air and a mosquito killer.However I would like to recall the time I spent with my previous room mate.He always listened to Mozart before he fell asleep.Even I loved to hear that.It was so soothing to sleep in such an atmosphere.Anyways have a nice day..

Some people find music very distracting when they are trying to sleep. Maybe as a baby, your sister was scared whenever she didn't hear any sounds, and when she grows up now, she finds it annoying. That's because she finds it distracting. For me, I find it hard not to sleep without music around. I need it, to lullaby me to sleep. LOL..
