To consult or not to consult?

Well, for something like a credit card, I may tell him that I'm getting it. I would not wait for "permission" though. But then, neither would he! lol

I don't generally discuss things with Shelly before I do them, I just do them and tell her afterward (if I remember LOL). If it is something that will affect both of us I would certainly talk to her about it before doing it. Her reaction is generally the same, whatever I want to do is okay. She's very good to me

Well I am single but if I was not and wanted to get a credit card in my own name I would probably do it especially if I had my own momey set aside. I think all women should have a separate place for cash of their own even if it is a safe deposit box.

That is wonderful to hear. I have signed up for offers like that before also and got a good credit for it. I used to do those offers alot but they do not approve now for some reason. I talk everything over with my husband and we both make the decision first though.

As my husband is the breadwinner in the family I always ask him first if he thinks it is a good idea as he can often see pit falls,then I take his advise.He also asks me what I think about something,we consult each other. Then we decide between us what we get or buy.It works out very well and no one gets any surprises or shocks.everything is equal in our partnership otherwise no one would know what was going on.
