Evening classes |
|
Have you ever gone to an evening class? If so what did you study? I did a Level 1 Spanish course from September 2008 to February 2009. I really enjoyed it and made new friends. I enrolled on the Level 1A course that was meant to begin in September 2009 however the course has been canceled due to not enough people wanting to do it. There will be a Spanish 1A course in a town far from me that I won't be able to go to.

1. wolfie34 (13863) | 3 months ago | Hello my friend, as you know I am doing some courses at my local college but they are all afternoon courses, I don't tend to like evening courses because of going out at night, however I did an evening course back in 2004 and I did GCSE Maths, I passed with a C grade, but I used to hate going out on the cold nights, fortunately I had my car, I couldn't have gone otherwise. I also did my NVQ3 Childcare on a Thursday night. Evening courses are ideal if you work during the day and you do find you get a different type of person on the evening course than you do the day or afternoon courses.

2. doryvien (925) | 3 months ago | I took up law and classes were held from 5:30pm to 9:00pm. I was already working then and the schedule was so difficult for me because I worked from 8am to 5pm then I had to commute from work to the law school, which was about 20 km far and traffic was terrible. I was almost always late for the first subject. But it was fun and I gained some good friends.

5. arcidy (4976) | 3 months ago | I had one evening class once in my first year of college I didnt mind it to much. But I do prefer morning classes. For one thing its a lot easier getting there since theres less traffic and easier to find a parking space. Plus Im to tired in the evening and dont want to do classes then plus I love to watch tv and would hate to miss some of my shows I watch.

6. Jennlk84 (2271) | 3 months ago | Back in college I took one or two evening courses. I mostly took them because I didn't have a choice. lol I prefer early morning classes. The courses that I took in the evening were education courses that were very important and specific to my major. I am a teacher. I'm glad those days are over for now. Although soon I will have to look into going back for my masters. Yikies!

8. whyaskq (5053) | 3 months ago | I have always commend and admire people who take evening classes, especially if they have a daytime work. I used to take evening classes and I find it very tiring especially when I have to go to class after a day's work. This is worst if there is any test or exams. It would be late when I reached home after class and the next day still have to work.

9. charlies2805 (599) | 3 months ago | I haven't ever attended evening class before in my life ( I don't know about next stage of my life). But I can't imagine attending a calss in the evening, when you're already tired with your previous daily activities. To study, we need concentration, and how do we gain it if the only thing we need is a rest?=) If I'm given options: morning/afternoon or evening class, I will definetly take morning/afternoon one.

10. nerdytina (2037) | 3 months ago | I took some evening classes while I was in college, but I haven't taken any since I graduated. I'm thinking about taking some more fun classes that different places here provide, like cake decorating, pottery, or wine tasting. I think it'd be a nice way to change up my evening routine for a little while! Plus, it seems like a great way to make some friends.
I hope you'll have better luck taking another Spanish class soon!

purplelilac (155) | 3 months ago | I used to take evening classes after working during the day. I worked at a daycar during the day and took education classes in the evening. It ususally worked out fine and I didn't mind it. I did have a reading class that went from 8:00 to 10:30. That was too late after working. My body wanted to reast and relax but I had to stay alert and give presentations.
